great advice there,a 929 is a big bike for a starter too. BE CAREFUL IF YOU GET IT. that price sounds normal for those miles. you will be able to tell with a good once over if it is well maintained or not.that price will be high if it is a streetfighter stuntin shitbox.

from talking to a bunch of builders over the years, the bell book is the one most have gone by.

you only bore to the next needed size to clean it up, bore will have little to no affect on hp. porting is where you get the muscle.too many bores over means shorter cylinder life. only take out whats needed.

do what every other builder in the country did after rudy kurtz. send him a tranny . then copy it. i had one in my drag bike 5 years, never had a problem except sharpened forks. rz forks solved that.the drum is modified, shift star radiused and some dogs are cut from the sides of the gears.i had just about every bad situation happen when draggin with my override. never had a failure.

i ran hoosier slicks and if you don t heat them up good, like a 4 th gear burnout, they are useless. they will spin. they come in 20 in.

and it would probably take a truck load of that coupon like money with geese on it to buy it! :geek:

dan hull and dave albin were about the only 2 guys that had success with the turbos.parts are hard to find, i think the turbo co. went belly up.they are extremely hard to keep running.but when they run they are outrageous.

i had the same problem on my gas tmx 38 mm`s. i just ground the stop under the thumb throttle back a bit.

tires are gone.
