common problem. go to the hardware store buy some wd 40 and a small wire brush the size of a toothbrush. spray up the threads, jam the wire brush in at an angle and keep turning it by hand until the threads are clean enough to screw the puller in about 6 or 7 threads deep.if that don`t work get someone to weld the puller on the flywheel, the proceed to order a new puller and flywheel.
it`s a disease. it never goes away. goes into remission , just when you think you are done BAM it`s comes right back. i am itching right now to build a thorough beater.
i already have one installed.i keep the ignitor right next to my oil slick tank. and that sits on top of the box that actuates the spikes that come out of my axle.just like in the drag racing scene in grease. GREASED LIGHNIN!

1 st you need to buy an aftermarket one with the 2 pinch bolts. then you get a big ass chisel. and a bigger hammer and start it moving by hitting in the off direction.it ruins the nut, but it will come off.
banshee carbs never changed. i would venture to say they are from an old streetbike. like said above. rd, rz. rz carbs had some kinda funky linkage on them.if they work, run them.
