  1. hi guys here's a question for you, with my banshee i am building for this up coming race season i am installing a right front wheel brake shut off solenoid, it is electrically operated, now it would be very simple to just use a small battery and operate the solenoid that way, or i was also wondering because it says to use a 5 amp fuse that maybe since i am not using any of the light i can use the power the stator would be suppling to operate the solenoid, and in that fashion i can run the solenoid via the handle bar mounted head light swithc and no one would even know
  2. just remember if you are going to use a crows foot to tighten it up you need to readjust your torque wrench setting slightly lower sinde you will be farther off center
  3. arctic cat did a reverse cooling system on the 03 and up firecat f5, f6, f7 sleds the whole reason for the reverse cooling was to be able to allow for more advanced ignition timming without detonating, its a real good system but the firecats are a pain in the arse to bleed the air out of when filling up the cooling system

  5. so has anyone found the time to measure the center to center distance from the swingarm pivot to the axle i would appreciate it
  6. hi by center to center i meant from the center of the swingarm pivot bolt to the center of the axle
  7. hi guys im building a 521cc flat track banshee for next years oval races and im in the process of building a -2 swingarm, i bought this banshee in a box 2 years ago and it didnt have a swingarm all im asking is what is the center to center length on a stock -swingarm or on your guys -2 arms thanks i will post pics as the progress goes
  8. d&s is a very reputable and knowledgable company when it comes to sled engines and a banshee isnt a whole lot more different other then it has a manual transmission
