  1. Herr jugs. When we do our 4 stroke heads we polish up the divider so it makes a nice smooth transition. These are still pretty blunt. Any other drag port job I've seen the dividers have a nice smooth edge like the leading edge of an air plane wing. And yes I did pay to have someone do that because I did not want to work on these. The exhaust ports look awesome. The intakes at the cylinder ports do too. I Just believe it could have been cleaned up a lot more in the transition areas of the intakes instead of it being so choppy
  2. So I just got my new cub cylinders from a sponsor on here and pretty un impressed with the finish quality on the intakes. Tell me what you think. Any drag or high rpm ported jugs I've seen had the dividers or separator plates sharpened or made to form a nice transition. These are still very blunt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Well I got lucky. I compared the geometry of my a arms and these here I only built +2 3/8. So I built some new spacers and got all the clearance I needed without having to cut the arms. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Rad does not fit. I ordered a set of mishimoto dirt bike radiators to fit in
  5. Made some mounts for the intake tubes and muffler canisters. Fit the nerf bars and put a front cross tube and used it to make the lower engine torque mounts. Things are going good so far. Going to work on the upper control arms after work this week if I have time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yes going with a remote rezzi shock. Just using this for fitment. The a arms have over 5 years of mx abuse on them so if I had an issue it should have happened by now. Plus it's only going to be used for ice racing. Dirt oval. Supermoto and the occasional drag
  7. There 36 mm mikuni carbs. Not sure the model. They Came on the 98-99 arctic cat 440 sno pro race sleds. The intake tubes are as short as possible and they are 2.5" id so time will tell
  8. Here's some more updated pictures. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Made some silencers today. Just have to fab some mounts. Air intakes are next. What size pod filters are people using Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Will the pipes work on a 421 cub
  11. 250$. ?? Are any of the mounts damaged
  12. The a arm upper ball joint will remain in the exact position. I'm simply going to rework the rear mount and move it forward and make a longer spacer In behind the heim joint. Somewhat like the j arm set up
  13. So here's some updated pics. Have some minor work to do to the rear upper a arm mount. It just about clears so it should be fairly straightforward to gain that extra bit of clearance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yup I am. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hey so your pierre Mayer's buddy
  16. Brighton is a little over 3 hours but all straight highway driving. Cornwalls races were ran at the speedway. The promoter was the track owner them self and circuit pro tour
  17. Nope. Pipes are easy. Going to re work my upper control arms but since I built my own long travel set up it will be pretty easy to adjust the rear mount
  18. I built those pegs myself. All aluminum. Super light despite the fact they look bulky
  19. The pegs are from this chassis when it was a 426 hybrid used strictly for dirt oval racing. Yes the motor comes out easy. Drop the rear end of the case down and lift it out
  20. Here's my new project. It's going to be an hjr ice race ported 421 4 mm cub. V force 3 reeds. 36 mm mikuni carbs. Cpi in frame drag pipes. . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Nope not part of the Ron crew lol. Raced ice in Cornwall this January all 3 days and in Brighton. I don't haveas much spare time as I'd like to go racing but oh well.
  22. I'm in moose creek. 3/4 km west of rons service shop. Just off the 138
  23. I live close to Ottawa. 35 min east actually. Where abouts are you from. How are the sand stars
  24. Apparently my photos are too big to upload but if someone here has an iPhone i can text them pictures
