  2. well i finaly had a chance to work on it some more and it just needs a couple more mounts for the rear fenders. the hard part is you have to cut off the stock steering stem hoop and fab up a new on if your going to run the yfz tank and a front seat-tank mount. still need to had some gussets to the stem mount. but all and all not that hard. i will get more when its completly finished with some orange laker yfz450 plastic and the pipes back on.
  3. me and my freind both just put on a set of yfz shocks on both are banshees and we did it the same way and it worked perfect and it sits about an inch higher and much better in the rough. and we payed less than 150.00 a set so it turned out to be well worth it.
  4. is this guy for real. nobodys that big of a jackass, are they.
  5. your a real dickhead, you should take your rainbow striped banshee and start a new retard atv site where you all know everything and your way is the only way, dumbass.
  6. and you carry a purse while riding your honda.
  7. most places i have talked to want between 350-500 dollars to mod the head to do this then you still got pipes to build, i may still do it with a cub cylinder.
  8. so whats going on with rocket pipes are they no longer making them, really wanted a set.
  9. anybody know how the cpi 6 pipes are and whats different about them.
  10. is the rockets a big bore pipe , will they work with a 4mm crank and cub cylinders under 500cc, and any geusses on how much hp i could get up to with full porting and that combo.
  11. how are the rockets, i mostley ride in sand and i will have a 4mm crank with ported cubs and im looking for a relly good bigbore pipe and i havent heard much on the rockets, or i have really been thinking about cpi bigbore pipes and i dont want to just shoot the hill but allaround duning.
  12. cool thats what i need to know.
  13. im trying to put together a quad mostly for the sand and i have toomeys t-5,s now but im going to do a cub cylinder with a 7mm crank and was wondering if i would gain much by swapping out the t-5,s for some in-frame bigbore cpi,s.
  14. i just got a banshee after being into 450,s the last few years and i still have my yfzthat im putting in a 13.5 523 stroker ice cube kit and i mostley ride sand. well anyway my wife will mostly be riding the yfz, so i really need to hop up this banshee so i dont have my wife beating me. i was thinking a 7mm crank, ported cub cylinder, a good set of carbs and some bigbore cpi inframes and shave a little weight. i just need some opinions should a banshee setup like this beat the yfz.
  15. i will stick with sixfeet under and devildriver.
  16. it was a joke i didnt really burn the plastic, i was being a smartass and its already worked and on just need to finish putting the rest of it together and start on my other banshee. this banshee i am finishing up i have been putting together for my brother im sure he will be happy to have a free banshee now i just need to buy some new silver laker 450 plastic and powdercoat my banshee frame red and a few other peices ,throw it together so my banshhe looks as good as my 450 but as long as it shows up all the 450,s
  17. it sure did feel good to brn the old banshee plastic once the banshee was blessed with a outstanding facelift.
  18. im sure i will have plenty of haters, i really like banshees just dont like the look of the plastic and really hate the raptor style banshee so here my idea. the steering stem mount needs to be lowered 2 inches to clear the 450 body and its going to get laker plastic with no radiator shrouds and a custom cut in grill kinda like the project blaster guys do. and the radaitor still fits just need to lean it back a bit. and install a thicker qaudtech seat cover to get back some of the comfortable banshee seat. anyway let me know what you think.
  19. bump
  20. i got started doing that same project and what i found is the radiator on the yfz comes very clode to the pipes, you could have cpi build a set just to clear it. i was going to just run drag pipes anyway and the room for the carbs is ok and there is plenty of materail there for fabbing up motor mounts. i will still end up doing one. but for now im putting yfz plastic, seat and tank on a banshee without the radiator shrouds and a qaudtech softer seat. and it looks awsome. i will get some pics as soon as its done. the hardest thing on the plastic conversion is you need to reshape the u shaped mount for the steering post mountso the yfz plastic will sit as low as it needs to.
