  1. oh i understand. so since my a arms require stocl length shocks i would get the dual rates. which is probably better for me because it will elimante some of the sag. also do the elka dual rates come with ssd or zero preload? thanks

  3. any truth to this the ind. said that comp. like elka are real nice but they have sag which puts you closer to the ground which is bad for trails? any help would be appreciated need some shocks for trails? thanks
  4. the bike w this set up is not to wide. infact think about it, it only 2 inch on each side. if you look at a ruler 4 inchs is not making the bike to wide for trails at all. although the four inches do make the bike much more stable.

  11. i ride trails and im sick of getting my front end hit by rocks so i have to go with bigger front tires to avoid this. my rears are 20 and still have alotof tread left so id ont want to just ditch them. rather run them dry and then buy new ones. so if unless im going to run into problems with 23 s in front and 20s in the back im going for it.
  12. no kidden you just saved me some money, my original razors in back still have alot of treadd. there 20 inch. do you think it will pose a broblem if i run 23 inch in front and 20 inch in back? thanks

  14. ok boys and girls. now ive heard the debates over what shock is the best for the banshee between dual rate vs tripple rate but never got a solid answer? anybody know what it is? i ride mostly trails with lots of rocks and debri, love to jump. i want my bike to stay above all the stumps and rocks because im sick of getting dented in a arms or getting stuck over logs, etc. im getting +3+1 a arms that require stock length shocks. help me out here what should i get? thanks

  16. looking to get aftermarket shocks. originally looking for used but then i have to get them revalved new springs maybe new seals? thats can be between 100 and 250. with this added on top of the used price is it worth it? thanks

  19. if i buy some axis shocks for stock a arm banshee i need to get them re worked for my weight, and my exteneded a arms right? think i need them re valved and probably stiffer springs because of the wider a arms correct? any thing else that need s to be done? anyways before i contact axis for this i wanted to see if anyone around the hq does this sort of thing. rather give a fellow hqer the $$ than outside source. also how much will this cost? thanks

  22. thanks for the reply it sounds like youve tried alot of differnet types of shocks. what kind of riding did you do with the shocks? also was it acase were you tried bottom end works and top of the line elkas or were they all evenly matched shocks? why did you like th elkas the best? thanks
