i took out the 48 pilot jet went up to a 50, kept the main jet at 195 c clip was 3 clips up. it runs much better now only thing is the air screw is all the way in maxxed out. should i go up or down on the pilot so i can take the air screw out a few turns so its not all the way in? thanks in advance

that make perf. sense. i pulled the needle out and the needle said dek and the c clip was at the third slot from the bottom. so now that im running the 195 main, the 50 pilot c clip is at the third slot, it runs great as long as the air screw is all the way in. now should i increase or decrease the pilot jet so i can take out the air adj. screw alittle so its not maxed all the way in.

ok i have the needle out, now how doi know if its a dek or an eek needle? also whats the clip everyones talking about. is that the piece of brass way down in the carb which the needle goes through? how do i get it out? thanks

i took the brass hex nut out and theres a needle like piece of brass that the hex nut goes into. the needle like brass piece actually comes out of the top of the carb with the spring and the throttle cable. is this long needle the main jet its about 3 inch long??

now heres a pic of were the pilot jet is i think? i took it out second pic and it has a 48 on it? hows a 48 for my area of riding, shouldnt it be lower??

new to the jetting world so im having some problems. i have some pics to make sure what im doing is correct. im trying to figure out what main jet i should runa nd what pilot jet i should run? im about 200 ft above sea level in massachusetts. here are some pics: first pic is just a brass screw hex nut? weres the main jet? second pic i thought was the home of the main jet but after taking the hex brass nut off im not sure if this is the main jet location or is it?

is the air screw brass colored and the idle screw has the spring on it right? im going through the same thing right now? thanks

WHAT PART ID THE PARKING BRAKE SENSOR AND if it wasnt unplugged would i still beable to get the bike to rev at a high rmp, just have to go slow on the throttle and it will rev all the wasy, but if im quick on the throttle then it boggs down? thanks.

mods on bike, vforce reeds, timing plate, t5's tors removed, parking brake removed, uni filter, pro flow plate. im not sure what jets are on the carb right now because i dont know how to tell?? i took the top off the carb, thats the spot were the throttle cable goes in. then a spring followed and a metal piece of aluminum with a long brass like needle coming out of the bottom??? whats that? then i took out the bottom of the carb, it was full of gasoline. is the main jet on the bottom. theres a brass screw like hex nut i took out as well? can anyone help me at this point??? thaNKS

i actually have not been able to take it out yet becasue im having problems w the carb. ive never jetted a carb before and im having problems. not even sure its the jetting? when i strart the bike it starts right idles good throttle good then when i shut the choke off and ghive it alittle throttle it boggs right down. now if i throttle up very slowly then i can get it to go, but if i throttle up quickly in the begining it boggs down and shuts down. so im trying to figure out whats going on. i was just outside messing with it i gave it gas and then the bike started reving very high, i hit the engine off and nothing happened, so then i pulled a plug wire and still nothing then i pulled the other and it shut down?????? i have no idea whats going on

installed my +3+1 asr a arms, steel braided brake lines, axis shocks w ressies, trinity 2 into 1 carb kit w 35 mm carb, ripped out the tors and parking brake.

whats up everyone, just wanted to know if the 2 into 1 trinity carb set up is suppose to run real hot, like a set of pipes???? thanks

im doing the same thing w a 2 into 1 is there any way you can get some pics of putting new jets in? im a little lost on the hole thing thanks

how do i tell what size is is for exaample a 180 main jet??? thnks

my carb is 35mm how can i chek what size my jets are?? im a rookie in the jetting department. i found the gold color metal peice going into the top of the carb. this is the jet right?? now how do i tell what size it is? thanks
