im getting sick of having to drive an hour two hours three hours and on just to go rideing. i live onthe border of ma and nh. thinking a street bike might be more fun. turn the key and out the driveway i go. i can go rideing everyday. anybody thinking of this, or has anybody done this? let me know if its worth it

are there differnt size grease fittings. im getting a grease gun tonight and want to make sure i get the right size thanks

tension springs theres twp per pipe four all together. they mount right at were the engine and the pipe go togther.

are there different lengths for those tenstion springs???? rockey mountain says there is

when i took it off to pu new pipes on i noticed the tip was bent so i tried to bend it back. i have a feeling the metal just got to weak from bending it back again and it just didnt want to hold right.

i was rideing the other day and one of my tension springs (thats the spring that connects your pipe to the motor, there are two for each pie) fell off. anyways i want to go riding tomorrow but cant get me hands on any. anyone have any tricks for replacement. thanks

yes the tcs shocks are set up that way. As far as yupdates, this new set up is great. the shocks really are amaizing soak up all the bumps and landings from jumps. The a arms work great and look real cool too. Now that I know this set up works I will be buying the new G series Shocks by works. I bought the TCS shocks used for a great price. I said once I know this set up is the bomb that I would invest some money into a good set of brand new shocks. so here it is working great so im buying new, lol. the only part i wasnt crazy about was the steering could be difficult at times. Now this might be common when ever you increase the width of a bike, i dont know because this is the first time ive ever done this. i always had stock a arms. anyone know of any good remedies to fix this problem? other than that i would say do it the set up is great, oh ya hit me up if you need a set of sweet TCS shocks set up for aroun a 170 lb rider w ressies and w bushings that fit the banshee frame up top and bushings that fit the yfz 450 a arms down below. these a arms have four rides on them since serviced. other ways ill throw them on ebay. figured i let anyone all you hqers know first esp. since alot of people are doing the transfer.

welcome to the club, thats great news about the weird noise you experienced on your banshee. However dont forget to check that oil with the metal in it. I would start changing it after every ride for alittle bit. keep us updated

yes your right it does make the frame weaker. however you would be surprised at how strong the frame will reamain. next time your on the highway start looking at the heavy duty mack/ inter. etc trucks and alot of there large trailers have simial holes through out the trailer frames. this reduces the weight, better gas milage and again it looks like the frame would be alot weaker but its really still very strong. Its been tested and stamped w approval many times over.

i have the 450 a arm conversion, it performs great and looks even better. the only problem is your arms get tired after awile. there some major steering, toe in toe out problems, but if we can figure out a cure the set up will be the bomb

i rode my 45o a arm conversion and im w you it does a job on your arms? any remodies, other than working out and rideing more, lol

me and my buddies are building three differnet banshees. we need two more sets of upper a arms.

here you go search "YFZ450 A-arms and Works custom shocks" you will find the shock measurements, make sure you se the ones with the banshee soindles. although i would recomend going with the 450 soindles and hubs. goodluck
