  1. I got a set of 1/2 inche reed spacers the other day and befor i put them in i wanted to know if i had to re jet my carbs? I got 340 mains in it right now with stock carbs. I have V force 2's, bored 20 over, head milled, TR6's, toomey 2:1 Filter, and a Dyno Jet Kit. Will I have to Change the main jet or anything be changed at all?
  2. I got a +4 swing arm, that im goin to run all around now. i had it just for silver lake but now i run it all the time i dont do much trail riding.
  3. I was playin around dragin some of my friends today and im lookin for a little more top end speed out of my 87. i can launch off the line in 2nd no problem. But i go to start off in 3rd it falls on its face. Right now I got a 14/42 set up in it. I bought it with a 12/42 and i was poundin guys out of the hole. But i want more top end and i was wondering if i went to a 15 front will it hurt me that bad of the line?? My mods are.....TR-6's, V-Force 2, Toomey 2:1 Intake with K&N Filter and outerwear, Dyno Stage 3 Jet kit with 340 mains, bored .20 over, and the heads been milled. Could i bump to a 15/40 or a 15/41 gearing with out losing my launch?
  4. My T-5's are blue also after 5 hours of ridding on a new set of pipes and the Girls TR6's are blued after just 12. The other day at they Yamaha Dealer she bought some stuff call "Blue Job". It works. It turns the pipes back to normal color with Minimal scratches. IT really dont look bad. And since then we rode this weekend and for a long period of time 6 hours in the trails and NO BLUEING yet.
  5. I run T5's on my 87 and they rip and have alot of pull. 4 out of the 6 of my buddies that have banshees have T5's. The Girl that rides with us has the TR6's they have some pull top end but T5's are better. Then the other guy has the FMF SST's but we dont worry about him hes always in our dust. Toomeys are the best way to go.
  6. The girl that rides with us has a 2001 Shee and its got TR6's and a 2:1 K&N, and she smoke one of my buddys with FMF SST's. He got the holeshot and she got him top end. I think the TR6's have more pull at top end. Im stickin with my T5's tho
  7. We got it tuned in now. We put the 340 main back in it and drop the needle clip to the 5th position. We turned the air screw all the way in then back them out only 1 turn. We started it first kick cold this morning, rode it for a hour and then did a top end plug check and the plugs look really good There a light chocolate brown color. Her respones is right on. warm or cold she starts on the 1st or 2nd kick. The low end and top end are all there. The TR6's have a lot of pull at the end over the T5's. We took them down her grandpas air stripe, and the T5's pull comin off the line but top end its all the TR6's she pulled away. The Shee's have the same work done to them, the TR6's are louder and have a Tinggy sound to them. Impressed by the TR6's Now she can hang with us.
  8. Yea it sputters but wont fire up. i think were goin to try a set of 330 mains in it.
  9. Her banshee is 2001 with a boost bottle, a Toomey 2:1 boot with a K&N Filter, and then the TR6's. we are running it with the 340, clip in the 4 slot. it runs with the choke on first kick but u give it gas it boggs and dies then no start for the next 2oo kicks.
  10. The girl that rides Shees with us. She just bought a set of TR6's and we been tryin to find the right jetting for her shee. We started with the 280, then the 300 main but the plugs were white white. So we jumped up to the 340 main and the needle clip in the 4th position. Started right up and ran really good. It was night by the time we got it all put back together and it ran great Plug colors looked really good. But this morning we go to go ridding and it wouldnt start. The plugs just fould out. we kicked it over 200 times then just had to pull start it and once it was started it ran great. but we shut it off and we couldnt get it started. Shes kinda pissed for not being able to ride. IT was about 79 degrees last night and about 92 today. Were from Central Michigan. What to do???
  11. Im from michigan and im running stock pipes for the next 3 weeks befor my t5's come back to me.
  12. I bought a Toomey 2:1 filter kit, and i was wondering how i would have to change my jetting of the stock carbs to get to to preform right and not to lean. I have a 87 Banshee with V-force Delta 2's , bored 20 over. Need HELP SOON So shee can come back out
