  3. very simple fix to this . hold front clutch while bike is on and in first gear, REV ALL THE WAY UP and let go of the clutch remain holding the break ........ Go through the gears as you normally would . Waaaaaaaa LA - Less Gripping tires
  4. since when do you have to bore for a crankshaft. Am i wrong ? Nonetheless man your setup will fly with or without the little 4 mill.
  5. SIMPLY keeper's . my lady is the same way..... I worked my way to keeping my banshee in the living room ! ... next is to get rid of the dining table and put the pool table..... She can drive stick ( 5.0stang) but i dont know if shes ready for the shee.... she keeps talkin about wanting to build a bike so this new project will be mine and her's .... All out drag ..

  7. PRIME SETUP ! You are going to get a HELLLLLLLLLL of a gain. with all that work.... seems like your are going all out from stock , why dont ya pickup a 4mill stroker ( around 420 ) .... sell the 06 crank for around 200 ...... Just make sure the shop knows your setup you are going to run , maybe they will do a better job knowing what pipes you will be using etc .... my port job alone was 600 with some new domes , 12 port =-D with those domes you should be running race gas probly, check compression

  9. seems abouutttt right i guess...a stock motor running goes for about a grand on ebay. 10mill stroker ? right ? if so crank - 1000 cylinders 1800 ? new add it up man . dont go by trinity, go by ebay prices...... that way you know the true resale value
  10. numb 8 is he actual gasket for the clutch cover, the actual seal is behind the water pump gear when you pull the cover off. Let me know if you still cant find the seal . Its basically on the exact opposite side of the flywheel ......... its on the clutch side obviously.
  11. i have raced a old cr500 dirt bike , and i beat him but from a 20 roll we are side by side until i get into 5th... THEN hes reading my shirt
  12. Check your boots over well , make sure theres no leaks there. Might be a simple problem. I heard you could spray wd40 on the actual boot to help look for the air leaks ? im not to sure , i just use my eyes very well. i knew i saw a thread on here about the leaker/tester thing , i found it for ya..... heres a link http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...c=65777&hl= let me know how it goes. -chase

Yes , i had a similar problem , my crank seal was bad and had tranny oil being pulled into engine and some how shooting up inbetween the cylnders/boots , and burning it out the exhuast aswell , it was littterly dripping tranny oil out my right hand side exhuast, draining my tranny oil through my motor was not a easy fix. MY cases didnt match up ethier since i tried to build the motor. Fuckin moron i was .
  14. just remember theyre will always be someone faster then you. No matter how much money you spend or do , they're will always be some maniac with a 3cylnder cheetah custom banshee spraying.... Nothing is impossible. Just takes a good amount of money . Until they start making atvs that come with street bike engines stock , i wont buy a 4 stroke. Something about more moving parts , makes me not like them any more.
  15. Have running with both dual and single's in my time , with my same setup . I concluded that the single's will dramatically reduce your total output power . However It is way easier to tune ... but duals is not as intimidating as you think. I personally would keep the stockers over a single carb setup. reason being is , well , theyre better The adapter plate is easy to install , and i would go with the 35mm , the motor will handle it just fine... two stock carbs = 26mm? each total of 52mm of air flow why would going to a 33mm TOTAL air flow in , be better .... i also tried swapping out my 35 , to a 40 mm and i noticed a waaaaaay higher powerband range, However the stockers still out preformed them both. GO FIGURE My motor had some pipes , really lightly shaved head , and a very mild mx port. Nothing extravagant , stock bikes with pipes are right behind me .
  16. theyre is seals on both sides , however to test it you need a ** vaccum pump / gauge thing..... it pumps air into the engine and tests if it holds the pressure .... Not to knowledge'd in this department but someone else will share some knowledge.

  20. bigboy - i live in rockledge fla , im about 3 miles from ron jon's or cocoa beach .. been doin the surfin thing , hangin out all day at the beach with a cooler and my board... Such my type of a hobbie. Im a short and stubby guy anyways 190lbs... you dont got much on me. the closest asphalt drag is , orlando motor speeed way and i cant get ahold of them to find out if i can run there , & what requierments do i need ( rear breaks i dont have / kill teather ) . I will run with my razr's i dont care , i just wanna see what shell do too. Havent really got her much into 5th AT ALLLLLLLLLLL ... motors got less then 2 hours on it. The gas estimation was judge'd by my last time riding 30 minutes tops for a qtr tank gas .. Id be lucky getting 2 hours i guess... Other not close track is Immokolee florida , they allow atvs yet its a good 1.5 hour's from me atleast. I cant find anywhere to really ride them besides the ocala forest ( they shut down ) .... Any help or information will be greatly appreciated.

  24. i got it ! off a 01 , 40 shipped good ball joint. I will go box it up right now and re assure myself the ball joint is good , before you send the money over . i have to take this all apart i sold the upper allready going to go check now brb
