ooooooooooo keep the clear coat very very light , like spray many coats vrs a few heavy coats ....... and dont get to close with the clear itll eat the paint ! i spray from almost 3 feet away with the clear. and i put 4 coats on

sup gee , i dont come on here much and if i do i dont post , but i just wanted to say , i completly painted my frame and i was pleased with the way it came out. heres my advice that i learnd from my mistakes MAKE SURE FRAMES ether sandblasted or pressure washed very good step two goto local paint store ( sherman williams ) tell them what your trying to paint and theyll hook you up with proper paint clear coat hardnerner and tell u how to mix it... atleast thats what they did for me check out my frame i just did

i go by deals , if the suspension is going for a preety high price i will wait till its my turn , i currently run warrior shocks on my banshee and i have them on the softest setting and they are EXTREMLY nice for the PRICE , i paid 25 shipped gotta love it !!! ..... take your time on deals dont try to rush into buying anything i seen stuff go for really cheap

i powdercoat my frames and i use www.trgcoating.com to do so , they are great in prices and work if u tell them chase sent you , you should get a better price. 200-250 , cut plastics is ure paragotive , if u wanna get dirty and ride like a maniac..... then cut them lol ...... i personally dont get all hissy when i come home coverd in dirt n stuff.

do what i did , run a high output stator and compensate buy adding 75 watt bulbs LIGHTS UP a hell of a difference

im on my 2nd complete banshee build and have a third frame waiting.. i know from past mistakes what is the way to go about building it to save time money/headacches.... here is particually the order i go from .. Frame ( front end now ) spindles hubs a arms tie rods steering stem break calipers handlebars break levers etc ( rear end ) swing arm carrier axel chain tensioners shock linkage and dog bone swinger bolt rear break calipers + resivors / lever (misc ) radiator gas tank foot pegs cdi / harness SHOCKS Seat motor mounts radiatior mounts ( last but not least ) ENGINE , PIPES carbs reeds aribox the reason i leave the last but not least section is because depending on what engine ub uy sometimes it comes with carbs / reeds / airbox ....... im sure i missed a few parts that people are going to rag on me ,but i dont got all day to type on a forum. but hey if u want to do it your way go for it buddy , i am only throwin in my 2stroke cents

HOW do you powdercoat a arms , do you remove the rubber boot and thats it ? doesnt it damage the ball joints ? i thought you couldnt do so ! was i told wrong ? also does anyone no of any mail order chroming fairly decent ?

building another banshee well 2 and im debating on 1 of them for colors ..... i really want a pearl white frame with a clear coat with a light amount of red flake ... has anyone seed a white banshee i have looked on here for awhile and only found one. Frames gunna be white POSSIBLY with all red accent pecies... help me show me some pics
