My FMFs turned more of a brown.
I always thought people were full of shit when they said they had no blueing. Maybe they dont ride hard or long enough. My new shee with T5s went out last weekend. Put about 3 hours of actual riding on them. No "blue" yet. But I can see the slight discoloration already. My brothers T5s had a nice 4 or so inches of blue.
Skin Graphics? Is that Richard? I know a few guys that camp by the canal.
I'll be out in the washes. 13. Probably get out there Thursday before the sand get too chewed up.
put in a set of 35w trail techs. you'll see the difference. Chinsy platic stockers get sand blasted/scuffed easily too.
What is the reasn for 30watts of tailight?
Just read the thread. What a dumbass! Guy talks about his sister dying nad someone wants to make a deal on pipes?
THEN, gets pissed when someone points it out. Total dildo.
Oh my god! I saw a set of these first hand this weekend. The gayest f ucking thing i have ever seen. I can't begin to describe how lame these are.
The guy was totally oblivious. He thought they were so rad. I felt so embarassed for him. I should have taken a picture of them. It was in my camp. Maier should be ashamed of themselves
eh? Glamis only has a few 6th gear bowls. Drags can use a lot of top end. Specially the big weekends when they becom 1/2 mile long. Olds is really the only top end hill to shoot.
Pegs. Never used. $15 shipped
Reed cages. Never used. Experiment with porting, freshen up that motor? $15 shipped
Black bumper. Removed in first 5 minutes of ownership. $25 shipped.
I just spent $100 powdercoating some wheels. In retrospect, I should've just rattle canned the f**kers. 2 seconds in the sand and they're all dusty anyhow. Barely look black.
Geckos are better for pavement than sand anyhow! hahahaha
Stick with :
Sand Tires Unlimited
Skat-Trak
ITP
Maxxis
Anything else are knock offs, kids tires or plain old cheapass rubber shit.
I forot about the stock swingarm setups. Damn those suck!
I think the way to make it even is by the 2 adjusting bolts below the carrier. They bolt in/out. If they are evenly screwed, it should be straight.
I rode this weekend with the stock sprockets on my '06. Nice speed. I waqs finally able to use all my gears. Little more shifting but hauled through the big bowls.
My '02 has the dropped tooth. Little more out of the hole. Make 1st gear unusable while riding and forget about 6th.
I like both for different reasons. Try it. It's an easy switch.
