  3. If you want to get the exact color match, i went to a local paint store and had them color match my frame. If you want I can give you the paint code if you are interested.

  10. I am sure someone will say this is a repeat thread. I want to see all your opinions still, here is my situation. Bike and mods: 1996 Banshee Mikuni 28mm Flatslide carbs FMF Fattys and Powercore 2's. Dyntek Programmable ignition 12 tooth front sprocket stock sprocket rear 42 i think... Pro design cool head K&N air filter K I want to know if i am geared way to low for my setup. When I drag on asphalt I am constantly shifting, its repeated like clutch shift clutch shift until 6th when i shut it down. Here is the real question: I don't want to hinder its performance in the sand. If i go up am i going to lose speed in my drag races? what is your input? Thanks
  11. here is a pic, but know that it is dirty not trashed. It comes with the boots, airbox, filter, pre-filter. It all will be clean before shipped.
  12. is there anyway that the shipping company could have dented it or anything? and could the bag or box it was in have scratched it or anything?
  13. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: Well, to say the least that has got to be some funny stuff. I can say that two years ago before I bought my Honda 400EX, the bike previous to my Banshee I actually test drove a bone stock 1995 banshee. I believe I saw it a few months ago, and it is no longer bone stock. Last June I bought my '96 shee. IMHO there is nothing like sitting at the bottom of sand Mountain UT, for example and beating guys on atv's that cost at least 2-3x more than yours. Or having a hot girl riding on back and hitting the powerband, and her squeezing tight. I would reccomend getting one, but make sure it has at least pipes. The stock one that I rode wasn't that impressive, but if you get a piped one it will make anyone grin from ear to ear. My dad, and brother are fourstroke guys who always brag about their bottom-end power, ya that is pretty cool stuff, but when you hit that powerband, there is just this surge of power kindof like nitrous to those cars on Fast and the Furious, and I cannot forget that sound, when you get on the pipe (or powerband) that sound is just music to my ears. I imagine its the same for many of the HQ'ers around here. my .02
  14. make me an offer! I failed to mention I take Paypal.
  15. I want to know if anyone is interested in this before i buy a replacement. I have a Pro-Design Pro Flow intake in airbox, with the rubber attachments to the carbs. It comes with the K&N filter, and an outerwears prefilter. Pics available upon request.
  16. come on guys, things could be a lot worse than putting yfz plastics on a banshee. He could be a treehugger sitting at home worrying about the "greenhouse gases" and trying to find ways to keep us out of the trails/areas that we like to ride in. If he wants to put yfz plastics on his banshee let him do it, you build your banshee the way you want, and prove yourself on the hill by roosting him.
  17. I got it out! I drilled out the center and tried using a square easy out. I wanted it in as far as i could get it so i used a sledge to pound it it further, but ended up breaking it inside the bolt. so i drilled from the other side, and got the broken parts to come out. i tried another easy out, without using a sledge this time, and it came right out! I was fearing the worst, but now it doesnt rattle anymore! thanks for the help guys!
  18. The screw is stripped on the kickstarter, and i dont know what to do to get it out. any ideas without welding a nut onto it?
  19. I have that system with a K&N and it is oval shaped. I don't know the P.N. for it but i can look to see since I have to clean it anyway.
  20. There is a hole in the back of it so I could mount a light into it. Can I pour water into it and have the gauge still work as good?
  21. I have the pro-design pro flo intake with a k&n on it, no problems here. imho if you are riding anything besides dunes stick with the airbox.
