  1. :cheers:depends who I'm riding with. I have a 500 4x4 that I do alot of steep hill climbs with creek crossings/mudding. then I take the shee for dragging and mx.
  2. looking for some ported cylinders.
  3. http://www.motorsportscooters.com/kymco/mongoose250.html I want one
  4. Porting is the way to go from what I read here on this site. I in same situation as you. I want to wait till winter till I tear the shee down. Get a ricky adj. timing plate and get a 15 front tooth. that will run about 75 bucks. he might stay with you till about 4 but say by in 5,6.
  5. pics of the carbs
  6. trying to see what u think, 96 shee stock bore/cylinder cool head, k&n pods, +4, fmf fattys/silencers, 21cc domes, 300 main, needle 2nd from top, v-force 3 reeds, 30 pilot. vm28 carbs not much different from stock. SouthTexas temp 102-105 deg. Plugs look dark. This heat has my shit mess up. Doesn't pull thru mid like it used to.
  7. buddy's of mine did the same thing, cut the gas off like you did wait about 10sec and then turn it back on while it is running.
  8. My friend has the 916's I have the fatty's. From the start I have in thru 2nd then in the midrange he starts to pull away. my bike is setup with coolhead, +4, kn pods, fattys/pc2's, stock bore/piston. He has dmc 916's, coolhead, pods, stock bore/piston the only advantage i think he has might be the wolf mapping cdi. Weight wise he's 190lbs I'm at 240.
  9. Man am I sick of getting beat at hillshooting. If I ride my DS650 and my 15 year old son rides his YFZ, he wins by four bike lengths. If I ride his YFZ and he rides my DS650, he wins by five bike lengths. He is a string bean of a kid, and I outweigh him by a hundred pounds And when riding my wife's TTR-125cc dirt bike I even lost to my 9 year old son on his Grizzly 125. I think I lost every race I ran last weekend
  10. Mine did the same shit, got the ohm meter out and ecectrical check out fine..well almost, the flywheel had cut one of the wires from the stator(green) just enough for it to get a good reading. Spliced it back up and started right up...hope this helps
  11. thanks for the info
  12. I see those 2 bolts on both sides, but is there something else.
  13. how do you tighten the freaking chain?
  14. whats your elevation? Sounds little lean on the main. My brother in law has the dmc's and I have the fatty's their almost dead even with equal weight riders.
  15. ? I have everthing but port work done to my motor; pipes, timing+4, cool head, v-force3, k@n pods. Brother-in law has same but timing. I weigh 240, he's at 190. When we race were even till 4th and he's starts pulling away . The question is, with +4 timing is that hurting my top end? Or should i leave it alone and put a 15 tooth in the front?
  16. I have a 2001 polaris scrambler 500 4x4 in perfect condtion, looking for 250 two-stoke dirtbike or 400 -4 stroke. located in San antonio, tx...pics I get upon request.
  17. The place where we was racing was just long enough for me to start off in 2nd ,hit third, then lock the brakes
  18. On the spark issue, my wire from the stator somehow touch the flywheel and cut one of the wire's, it was so small you could't see it unless you looked real close. I looked every electical on the bike before I found this.
  19. does anybody know anybody that does port work in texas for the shee?
  20. I have the powercore 2's, I don't think they have arrestors.
  21. Went for a ride last nite. Rode for about 2 hrs hard. When I went to park it I sometimes had sparks coming out of my exhaust when I reved it up? what does this mean.
  22. If you plugs are wet, how is it running out of fuel? Maybe is not firing correctly, did you check your electrical. I know u can check your stator and coil with a meter but you cdi I don't think u can check that unless your have a friends to swap out with.
  23. pic test, I posted this banshee but didn't have pics so here they are. sale $3200 http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/salinas91/al...m/ph//my_photos
  24. did u get the shee?
