ok i still have my shee but i just bought a kawi and my friends all have the 450's. the suzuki handles better with it's width but factory settings on the suspension is a big concern. as far as the rest go with what options you want on your quad. money can fix any problem and win any drag race the question is what quad feels the best to you. i like the kawi because of the efi and reverse, it has great power and it will do any type of racing that i want to take it on. if i want to just drag i pull out the shee, anything else the kawi. nuff said

i just found a guy in lansing, i don't know the name of the shop or anything but i found him on ebay last night if you want i'll send you the number i was going to check him out sometime this week

we almost always run on pavement when we drag, and even on dirt those hd's hookup pretty d@mn good its not like he kills me he gets me by about 2 to 3 quad lengths until i hit the top end then i have about 5mph on him

stock carbs but dialed in great, and i don't know who did the port job i bought the engine off e-bay after blowing mine up at silver lake

as far as mods now i have port, polish, bored .020 over, forged pistons, fmf fatties with turbine core 2 silencers, boost bottle, timing plate advanced 4 deg, and i am running holeshot hd's in the rear with xc's in the front, oh and i have been running 14-41 gearing but am switching to 13-41, we drag all the time and i can get him in the long run but he has a lot done to his yfz too i can beat my cousins suzuki 450 and of course stomp his predator, and even beat most other 450's to but i have problems with that just that friend

i use the holeshot hd rears and get great hook but they are heavy as a mo fo

ok thanks guys i need the power my friends yfz450 still gets me in the drag and i need the power so this is the next step for me

just wondering which coolhead you guys think i should run. i don't want to replace my studs and other than that i just need the extra power

ok does anyone know about the suzuki. helping a friend jet his z455 and when he tops it out in fifth and lets off the trottle it cuts out and won't start again ill he turns the gas to prime then it runs fine . anyone know what could cause this?

yes i did get a whole engine and i do have the stocker

yeah it is the saints. i do have k&ns on it how can i bump the compression

i blew the stock engine on my shee and now have one on order with .20 over and mild porting i am going to use my boost bottle and my fmf fattys with turbine core 2 silencers and waas wondering what other things i can do to tweak some power out of my shee

ok here is a dmb question but i'm a virgin, do i need to pull the clutch and all the associated parts on the right side to split my case

new news on the 450 predator and shee that we run, we rode on a warmer day and i walked on the predator and lost to the 450 by 3 lengths.

i own a 2000 banshee with fmf fatty pipes, turbine core silencers, jetted, holeshot hd tires , boost bottle, boysen reeds, you know simple mods, i was wondering if anyone had some ideas on my gearing. I just bought this quad and it already had been changed to a 13:41 i wanted a little more acceleration and am not bogging through the gears, i thought of going to a 12:40 but some one told me that i should switch back to the stock 14:41 to give me a wider range in the gears. if anyone could give me an opinion i would appreciate it. thx

my cousin has one and it pulls pretty well we are even until i hit the 6th. it has no problem pulling a wheelie either. the back end is pretty loose though, likes to slide

my friends and i all have slightly modded atv's, my cousin runs a predator, and my other friend runs a yfz. in a straight drag on dirt the predator and i are neck and neck till i get to 6th then i walk easily, the 450 beats me by 5 lengths at anytime but we have never gone far enough for my top end to hit
