Smoke at startup is usually an indication that the rings are getting old, smoking while it runs means the rings are getting ready to be replaced. Smoke coming out of the bike when warming up in cold weather doesnt mean anything is wrong with the bike, necessarily. Stock is 182psi, I think 170 is the low end of the "ok" range. dont know about the compression tester but if ur in the 90Range you need a new top end ASAP! Also Smoke at start-up can also mean worn valve guides/seals. After the machine is run and then shut down, the oil seeps past the worn seals and into the combustion chamber where it is burned on next start-up. If it smokes on acceleration after it warms up....most likely worn rings.

I just put my head on i have +4,and 20cc and couple more mods..and hell yeah you feel some gains! i feel alot more torque on the low end!!! i deff noticed the diff rite away!

well..pictures talk for it selfs...they where 2 on the shee ridding on the street none had helmet they were on 6th speed when they arrive to an intersection where lots of car accidents occurs they didnt stop and they crashed into a truck that was passing..the boy on the back seat was sended to a wall on the intersection..he hit the wall with his head..he didnt die instantly..when a doctor arrived the kid was lyin on the floor and the doctor tried to see if he had some major head injury when he saw it he said that he wont make it..the driver of the truck was catched the other day,banshee driver was in coma with the femur broked,i arrived to the scene 5 mins after the accident happened..i only know the kid that was driving..but the other one was a pal from a that sold me my first banshee,i will only put the bike pics cuz the other ones are too hard to see.. This happened in my country where you can ride your atv's and cycles on the street,this didnt happen on a very transitable street... ALWAYS ALWAYS WEAR HELMET! This is how the banshee finished

and anywayz who wants to have a stock banshee?!..i RARELY visit the stealership for parts..fer example if i get in a crash and broke an a arm i wont go to the stealership and get a stock a arm..so we dont need yamaha for parts!..there r plenty of ppl who makes parts for banshees better than stock..u can built a banshee from ground with only aftermarket parts! no need for yamaha..they already supplied what we needed..now we dont need them

banshees already have reverse..and it simplier than the ski-doo thing..its called get off and push!! pretty simple..no wires,electronics,or buttons needed!

switch plugs,wires and c if the problems move to the other side..if occurs then u have electric problems..mayb ur coil is going bad..it happened to my once..but i had spark sometimes yes and sometimes no...the problem was my plug cap that was gettin rust where it connects to the plug wires...try thah!

i just put my cool head and im having a high idle!! ,the idle screws are almost out the carbs slides close but when u accel it keeps high!!! the throtle isnt sticking..what could be this?? an airleak??? need help!! FIXEDD!!!! thanks to DLNOSS!! HE IS DA MAN!!!!!

Hey guyz i have been looking around on post and someppl says that is a good mod and others not...so what's the Pro and ccons about this..Im plannin on doing it since i have my motor apart.but some ppl tells me that that aint a good idea..lets hear ur inputs.. hope boonman holla here

get a ricky stator timing plate,lighten the flywheel (boonman),Noss head,some port (best bang for buck) and u will c some gain deff!

for some reason when front brakes are cold u can move the wheels freely.but when i use the brakes for maybe 1 or 2 not hard stops the lever gets REALLY high and the brakes like lock up..this doesnt happen when they are cold..also u can smell the front brake pad like burning and the caliper get HELLA hot ..its like sticking for some reason? what could cause this??pads arent new..should i bleed them?

make sure u adjust the idle screws..check the cable and look if they close ..if not my guess is that ur idle is too high ..

i dont ride @ dunes..i mostly do trails,and drag ...so..i was thinking going 15-41? how does this sounds??
