If you dont mind me asking. what needle are you using. My pilot it 52 and it idles crisp and my throttle response is good. My mid range is a bit off and i think I should have more power up top. Im going from a 165 Main to a 185 and im going to see how that works. My needle is DEJ Taper:1.45 Length:38.1 Diameter: 2.685 On the 3rd clip. Any sugestions? Thanks Anthony

your on race gas though. Im on 22cc domes right now and its a little dead. Im goin to go to a 21cc which will bring me right up to around 158 so I can still run pump. The quad was much hairyer with the 20cc domes on racegas. But I dont want to spend the $ on gas. so ill try the 185. Ill let you know how it goes. Thanks

I run at sea level and at around 1500above. .50 over, Trinity stage iv manifolds 33 PWK keihin Boost bottle Boysen power reeds reed spacers toomey t5 K&N Pro design cool head 22cc domes (pump gas) I know the main jet is 165 I feel like it should be pulling way harder for the work that it has done to it. It almost feels stock. Ive had some people give me advice to go to a larger main size and thats what I was going to try next. I have read alot on the carbs i just never worked on them.

Anyone know a good web page or a place where I can find a step by step procedure on how to rejet. I have exploded pictures and understand what everything on the carb does. I just have never had one apart. Thanks Anthony

Well I have T-5's Im tryign to get a rough estimate of my speed and I know 2 strokes sound like they are screaming bloody murder but I never knew how high they actually rev. 13/42 with a 22" tire and Im going down to a 20".

well stock stroke but its .50 over with 33mm carbs. Pipes, power reeds/spacers. etc . Will that make a difference or 8g is pretty much it.

When are big bore domes used, rather then a standard size dome. Im .50 over does that require Big bore?
