They Are quick bikes, yet I have friends who are big into the MX scene, one has a KX 250 the other has a yz 450, when they drag they are even off the line and the KX slowly pulls away for the last 100 feet of the race they were dragging around 300 feet. I raced the yz 450 too we were going from a 20 mph start and he accelerated like a motherfucker, but I soon caught up and passed. From what I see they are as quick as hell, even though I beat it I do not think I would beat it 10 out of 10 times

What are the temps? You need to be more specific than some kind of pipes. All pipes require different jetting specs.

I get them for about 2 bucks a jet

Work your way down to a 260 main, and put the needle clip in the 3rd slot.

You are rich on your jetting lean out your main jet a size or 2

Alright my she was running awesome for the poast few weeks but nw that the temps rose it is starting to bog a little right before the power band, I was wondering if I should adjust the needle clip on click leaner. I have FMF Fattys, K&N air filter, Boyeson reeds, and stock carbs bored out to 28mm's. 260 mains, needle 3rd position not sure in pilot 27.5 i think, and air screws 2 turns out. Temps 70-90 at 1000-1500 feet!

I run interceptor in all my sleds and in the Shee' 40:1 it runs awesome for me, and I jetted it with the same ratio too, 40:1 interceptor. My older sled a 99 zl has 4500 miles on it same topend, always ams! I run it in the Firecat and ZR too!
