  1. That car is GHEY. I like how the nasty ass dark brown wood trim compliments the ghey green interior.
  2. Did you change your pilot jets and adjust airscrews?
  3. I had the same set up. I was at sea level to 500 feet I ran. 320 main jet. stock needle 4th clip down from the top. some say stock location for the needle is ok. Mine seemed to run better on the 4th notch down. I also installed 27.5 pilot jets with the airscrews turned out 1.75 turns.
  4. My friend bought 1 off of ebay he said it didn't work. Good luck
  5. I had the same problem backfire on the low end my reeds ended up being the problem. I would check those also if you already have the carbs off.
  6. You're not going to get any poontang with those PT pipes go with the T-5's.
  7. I had the same setup when I first bought my bike from the dealer I ran 320 mains and never overheated.(sea-level) I think your lean.
  8. I'd hit it.
  9. I have a Trinity 2-1 intake for sale $375 shipped. Has a brand new Motion pro thumb throttle cable, K+N filter with outerwear. I also just replaced the needle jet holder. Carb is a 38mm PWK. I also have 1 cgl needle and 1 eek needle that will be included. Current jetting is 48 pilot, cgl needle on the 4th clip from the top, and a 200 main . The carb cap and throttle cable are not in the pictures but will be included. Mounting bolts are long enough to fit with v-force reeds with no spacers. Carb pic 1 Carb pic 2 Carb pic 3

Right side silencer has large dent on inboard side. open to trades for cpi/rockets/shearer. (inframes) make offers
  16. I put that picture up over my girlfriends bed so I don't have to use Viagra anymore.
  17. Alright thanks in advance for the help. See my signature for mods. I finally had a chance to run the shee after assembly. I'm currently at sea level, running a 200 main, eek needle on the 4th clip from the top (blunt end). I have a 48 pilot with the air screw 1.75 turns out. This is my first time riding a ported banshee. Top end and midrange are excellent no bog or hesitation. The shee won't idle for more than a few seconds before dying. I can also start it hot or cold on the first kick without the choke. Also while cruising in any gear (up to 1/4 throttle) it seems to hesitate/sputter. When I go past 1/4 throttle the sputtering goes away. The plugs are blackened around the base of the porcelain and turn to a medium brown about half way up. I think I could probably lean the main jet down 1 size. But just wanted to get some input on what to do with the pilot jet. Should I try a smaller pilot jet?
  18. I already sent a e-mail to trinity I'll see what they say. I think I'm going to try the eek needle also. Time to get ordering. Thanks for the help
  19. I need a starting point for jetting with this setup. (Main, Pilot, Needle clip postion and needle type.) Trinity Stage IV port, Trinity Stage IV intake w/38 mm PWK, V-force Reeds, Cool head 20cc domes, T-5 Pipes, GYT-R ignition module, Clamp on K+N, and wiseco prolites. At sea level. The carb is currently set up with 178 Main, 55 Pilot, 4th clip from the top on the needle. It's not together yet, just wanted to know about what size jets to order. Thanks
  20. Here is a pic if i'm doing this right
  21. I have a set of Toomey T-6's bought in OCT 04. 1 small dent near the TR emblem on the left side barely noticable. Only been on a few rides with these would be willing to trade the T-6's and possibly some $ for T-5's, cpi inframes, rockets or trinity pipes. I would like inframe pipes small bore.
  22. I'm using a gyt-r cdi and have no problems. Did you buy the correct cdi for yor year banshee. also in the instruction booklet it says if it runs like shit return the cdi for a new one.
  23. I need some suggestions for jetting the shee after upgrading the ignition module. I just installed a gyt-r ignition module. I have t-6's, cool head, k-n pod filters, reed spacers. How many sizes larger on the mains do I need to go if any. right now I'm running 30 for the pilots, 4th clip from the top for the needles and 320 mains. It runs well with no problems. Also which reeds are the best v-2's or v-3's. should I get different needle jets toomey/vito's. Thanks
