hey guys i have a question i have a 96 shee with a cool head 18cc domes k&n pro flow filter it is bored 0.20 over no pipes neighbors dont like that runnin 110 octane gas he has a 2003 yz 250f the four stroke with slipe on pipe we ride at about the same skill level we race about 800 feet grass drag should he beat me his weight is 185 plus what the bike is and i am about 250 plus the shee please help me with any hole shot tricks or how to beat him probaly need pipes thanks

cdi do just go out mine did and i was able to switch the plugs offa newer one and saveda couple hundred

if you stay up on the tank you wont have any problems but if you start shifting your weight up and back hold on cause it is commin up but twist for me love it

i just need to know how would it change my speed if i put a 16 t on the front a left the 41t on the back i have 20s on the back for tires, cause now my first gear is too low and out of control with the 14t on the front my buddy told me to switch the back to a 38t but i have the 16 so just wanted to know what it would do thanks

just put a cdi on no way to test that not too often the coil goes bad but i had my stator tested at a shop all you can do is try other stuff if it all checks out it is cdi they just go out

when i just had kn i was runnin 240

i had a problem like that it was my reeds i took them out and they had a gap in them i turned them around rode it to see if that was the problem and it was so then got new ones

lost all spark on my quad is it the cdi box and will all years interchange please help it is a 1996 thanks

thanks for the help took the reeds out and they were bad had a little gap in them on that side got new ones and i am rippin again

i took the reeds out and put some 110 octane in there and the reeds had a little gap in them so i turned the around to see if that is the problem it ran alot better but it still has a little miss on idle on the clutch so i might try to get a newset of reeds the plugs are a light tan what color should they be thanks guys sure need the help if it is head gasket would it smell different

proud owner of a 1996 banshee no problemns had it for a year. started it the other day thought i fouled a plug ,put new ones in but same thing poppin out the clutch side barely even runnin on that side cleaned the carb didnt help . i had a coolhead put on about 6 months ago had a compression test done 175 psi and 170 on brake side i didnt know it was that high so i have not been runnin racing gas what octane should i be using and by not using the right gas cause the popping and loading up if any one can help thank you
