honestly man you should blow his doors off! i raced a 400ex once when i had my 97 shee with just t-5's and waited on him a while at the finish line so if i was you i would definitely kick it a nickel!!

i hear ya man! my fmfs were a bitch to get on especially at that connection you are talkin about, hell i don't even have clamps on mine they are so tight and it took a damn torch and a rubber mallet to even get it up enough to bolt the silencer on. i thought about some nice pipe clamps from like cascade but, its no use because nobody can see em anyway and plus they might not go on because of the room issue. i had toomeys on my last banshee before this one and they bolted up nicely, and the silencer slid up onto the expansion chamber with no problems. i think im gonna buy some cpi's, or toomeys anway and most likely toomeys because ive had em before and know they are good pipes. after trying both pipes i personally think the toomeys pull alot harder than the fatties, don't know about sst's though but, as far as the fatties go i think the t-5 is better, just my opinion. i have always been lucky in the fact that my dad and his brothers have a land and timber company along with a lumber company and have always had plenty of land to ride, hunt, fish etc.. but, you wouldnt believe the amount of people that ride on it and tear it all to hell, run over trees that we planted, fish and hunt without permission. i don't really care about them riding but, at least be thankful for getting to! its gettin to the point now when i go out to ride my shee somewhere i end up picking up a bag of trash everytime i go and that sucks! im good minded to go dump it in some jackass's yard if i knew who it was. i just know that im lucky i have a place to go and want to take care of it when im there. when i put the shoe on the other foot and think about not having any of that land to go and enjoy some fine recreation on i would be worried because i think the closest public riding area is like 2-3 hours away. if more people would ask nicely and put trash in its place and not be so damn destructive more land owners would be more than happy to let people ride all they wanted. just my 2 cents

got my new f.a.s.t. clutch in earlier this week and installed it last night after i got home from work. All i can say is damn! this thing rips now and further more dealing with jeffs company was such a pleasant experience. Never have i had such fantastic customer service in my entire life and what a super nice guy to talk to. I think i speak for everyone here when i say most of the time when you call and order parts somewhere and finally get passed the elevator music the guy on the other end has the personality of a piece of toast! I know exactly from now on who will most definitely get my business! thanks so much jeff and you will have a motor comin soon! Im out! BigCP

i have it running better but, definitely not finely tuned in yet. i paused on the carb and put a new f.a.s.t. clutch in last night and can't wait to try it out. One thing i noticed is that i didn't have the air/fuel screw turned out enough but, i still wanna run my air box lid because some of the places i ride has some wide and kinda deep river crossings which i have had no trouble with before. im gonna get an eek needle and try it too in my spare time. i will let you guys know how it turns out. thanks for all the input! i run the fattys on my bike and do alot of woods riding and have owned the t-5s and they were awesome too. my buddy has the 916 dmc system on his shee and i would rather ride his bike in the woods than mine. both machines are about the same as far as mods just different pipes. I just think you can lug his a little more than mine but, i still think fmf makes a decent pipe. just my 2 cents

man i hate that for you i really do and it has happened to me on two occasions where i thought i was gettin a really good deal but, ended up gettin shafted. Confronting them about it wouldn't be a bad idea at all i confronted one of my bikes previous owners after the fact i just dropped like 2 grand in just parts on top of what i paid for the bike initially.

im kinda new around here and been a member for a couple months or so and have bought things on here from various individuals for my banshee along with making this the fourth banshee that i have owned. Its nothing special a 20 over bore, vitos pistons, v-force 3's, fattys w/ power core 2's, k&n and thats about it, no porting or serious motor work as of yet. i had been riding it with the stock carbs for some time and decided to put the single carb on sunday afternoon while i had nothing to do and ride it some. so i installed the new reeds and the carb manifold, carb and new airbox. got it all hooked up and ready to run, choked it and started kicking...well i had to give it gas to fire it up but it ran and so i adjusted the idle and got it idling and took it for a couple a runs up the driveway and immediately i could tell it was a little rich but, not too bad so i decided to wait and fine tune it this week. i fooled with it some this evening after work and it will start up fine on the first kick everytime but its so damn rich so im like well i guess i will post on the jetting and exhaust forum and get some input on what to do. after listening making a few slight adjustments on the carb i could tell no difference and as a matter of fact it had gotten worse on the rich part. so i started looking for problems and decided to check the needle clip and make sure it was in the 3rd position because i figured that to be a good starting point to be at before i made this post. upon furter inspection the intake boot between the carb and the stage 4 manifold was almost ripped clean off! it was dry rotted that bad so before i even started fooling with pilots and mains i stopped myself and figured that this had to be something to do with the way it was running so here i am at this point writing this forum post and i feel stupid for not inspecting that earlier but, if i could get some help with what jet sizes to go with when i get my new intake boot installed this weekend it would be greatly appreciated. im 1600 feet above sea level, it currently has a 170 main and 48 pilot with the air/fuel screw 1.5 turns out from the seated position. i have a 160 main in my tool box but, i don't have any more size pilot jets and was wondering what sizes i should start with at my elevation and the mods on my bike? i also have a dek needle in the middle position. sorry for such a long post but, i just wanted to tell that story to everyone because i thought it was kinda funny looking down and seein that boot ripped in half and good thing i didn't go on a long ride or anything because im sure it could have been fatal to the old shee. well, thanks and any help would be appreciated. Laters! BigCP

i changed the clutch perch on my banshee and took that bulky stocker off and i replaced the rear parking brake deal with one of those block off plates so now i just have a nice ez pull lever and perch. there was a plug in deal on the perch and of course i unplugged it and left it hangin with the intentions of taking it completely off later. what i need to know is what to do now because my bike won't run without that little button on the plug in depressed, with it just hangin there and button extended my bike won't open up at all. any information on how to fix this permanently so i won't have any more problems. thanks cp

im at my damn wits end! ive hit a road block that the majority of you guys will think is stupid. I can't get my new fmf silencers to slip over the expansion chamber pipe???? the silencer is lacking one inch of lining up with the bolt holes so i can get it bolted up. this is the third set of fmf pipes i have had to do this. Once on my 250r, and twice on the banshee, this being the third time. for all you veterans out there is there some special magical way that you twist the pipe to get it to slip on there?? im about ready to bolt the stockers back on! on my old 250r i had to heat the flange area of the silencer up with a torch and then i slipped on fine. im somewhere now however where i don't have a torch handy unless i load it up and take it there. so any help would be greatly appreciated! i will definitely keep trying. thanks, BigCP

yeah man its pink but, barely and i have used both the benol and the super techiplate mixed at 32:1 in my shee and my chainsaws, i have a modified 3120 husqvarna chainsaw and a cr250 engine made into a chainsaw that i use on a pro lumberjacks series and i haven't had problems although i know what you are sayin and i was a bit leary at first because it looked like straight gas was going in but, it is mixed! i guess thats just what it looks like so im sure you are ok with it

hey man i would be interested in that setup for my banshee, im new here just registered last week and just bought another shee 2 weeks ago that is basically stock except for a 30 over bore by the previous owner and um some other nit picky things i have put on it basically just cosmetic stuff but, i live in the mountains of virginia and even though i wish it was just one big straightaway there are mostly just trails to ride and i had one of those trinity kits on one of my previous banshees and loved it because it did improve the bottom end power. i would be interested in your system most definitely, just let me know if you still have it, i know those things are pricey when you get em new. thanks man BigCP
