  1. Yeah,I got a sand blaster.It's the 350 series.LOL!!!
  2. I rode my friends 450 suzuki. It runs pretty good.He took out the baffle but hadn't put on the cherry bomb when I rode it.It wouldn't even pull a wheelie when I rode it.Since he installed the cherry bomb,he said it will wheelie so it probably needed it for extra fuel. We'll see if it will run with my banhsee.Hope he doesn't mind having sand thrown at him.LOL! He's been talking about buying the new kit from Trinity. To me,it feels like riding a YFZ except the YFZ is faster.
  3. Have you prepared for the sand blasting I'm going to give ya crazy c?
  4. I've been using v-force reeds for about 3 years.I've used them when I was burning gas and even when I switched to alcohol with no problems.
  5. Sent ya a PM.
  6. I wish the classes were different.I gave my opinion, but they make the rules.I do agree with them that it should be kept simple. They will probably make some different classes after this one. It's double elimination so I'll probably be put out after 2 races. We could always go somewhere else in the park.I will want to watch some of the races though. If my bikes not running,I won't go.
  7. Jeff is swamped right now.I've been waiting for a while for my cylinders,carbs.,etc..(list goes on and on and on).I bought "ALOT" of parts.I'm constantly thinking of parts I need.Just ask him.Jeff is awesome to deal with.He can get just about any part you need. I've seen some of his bikes he's done.I was shocked.I didn't think you could make a 350 that fast.Jeff can do wonders with a banshee. Can't wait to start winning races with my F.A.S.T. banshee.
  8. Might have nothing to do with it,but have they done a compression check yet?Might have one cylinder on it's way out(loosing compression/bad rings).
  9. It's actually at an atv park.I think it will be 400 ft.They'll probably just find the smoothest spot they can.The park changes like most do.Looks like 4 strokes and 2 strokes will be in the same class. These rules might change later on after this race to see how it goes. Here's what my friend posted: Guys this is Great how everybody is talking and trying to come up with ideas...I love it... But, Now were making this to complicated....LOL This being the First Race....Just start small.... Just remember: 2 Classes: Unlimited Class: (The definition) What ever you have done to your bike is Ok.... Anything....and it better be Fast... (Drag Frames, Nitrous, Turbine engine from a Apache Helicoptor......The faster the Better...) You know what i mean...LOL Open Mod Class: (The Definition) 2 stroke or 4 stroke Atv or Atc (no dirt bikes) Stock style frame....(You can have a extended swingarm) Stock style engine...(No aftermarket cylinder heads) This applies to 2 strokes... But you can have any size Stroke Crankshaft.... Any Carbs....Must be Gas...or Race Gas.... No Nitrous No Nitromethane No wheelie bars No override transmissions Any style tires you would like.... That should cover it for the most part.... Most of you guys i know what kinda engine your running.... This race has been designed to seperate the men from the Boys.....LOL If you race and do not win....We will be doing this 1 race a month....So the bragging right are always up for grabs.... To everyone i hope this works out and we all have have Fun!!!! May your Pockets become deep and your bikes become lighter.... Thanks... Keep talking it up... (I think we all could use a little cash$$$$$$)
  10. Date hasn't been set yet. Will let you know when I find out.
  11. Thanks for the advice.
  12. For right now, there will be 4 stroke and 2 stroke classes. They will try to make it fair as possible but keep in mind that too many classes gets to be too much to keep track of.
  13. One of my friends had a great idea to put on a race at St.Joe State Park. Please keep it quiet. This is not considered a sanctioned event so if you show up please don't be asking the park officials about it.There will be a small fee.I think like around $5.The classes are still being decided. Not sure on a date, but it will be in probably about a month or less.Be thinking about it.
  14. If $3500 is all you have invested,I'd say that's really good.
  15. Would you happen to have an extra blaster pipe and silencer for sell?My brother might be interested. E-mail me the pictures, and I'll post them. [email protected]
  16. Alcohol is cheaper but alcohol bikes sure are thirsty.Mine is anyways so cost wise it's about the same.If you've ever seen a alcohol jet compared to a gas jet you'll know why they're sooooo thirsty. Purging my bike isn't a big deal but there is times I get home and wish I could just throw it in the shop.If I run race gas I could though. For a drag bike, alcohol is worth it.For a play bike,I'd stick with gas. Some of the money you guys have to give for it though is just insane. What do they think they're selling,Gold?
  17. I agree that you probably need to take some time and get use to it.T-5's are a really good pipe. The stock air box is awful. If you don't ride in alot of water, the clamp-on K&N filters are good. These filter will eliminate the airbox and clamp directly to the carbs.Make sure to get the outerwears for the K&N's.Pro design makes a kit that includes a plate that bolts inside your airbox that will allow you to just get rid of the lid.A boost bottle is a waste of money. Removing the TORS won't gain you any power. The TORS is just a bunch of clutter that can give you alot of problems.
  18. For those that don't like country music.I'm not crazy about it either. If you ever come across a Sara Evans video, check it out. That woman is HOT,HOT,HOT!
  19. You might as well face it.You're addicted. If you are getting into banshees and think it will be cheap,it's not. When it's fast enough to really scare you, that's almost fast enough.LOL!
  20. I bought mine from K&T performance.Good people to deal with. On planetsand you can go their business directory and click on Yarnell(marvin shaw).Might call them for suggestions.
  21. The guys and gals over at planetsand are putting on a race that weekend.Someone correct me if I got the date wrong.I'm hoping to go but by no means for certain yet.Just wondering if anyone on here was going. If I make it,I'll be in the 350 class.
  22. My friend had one on his' banshee. It was so wide one of the pipes rubbed a hairline crack in it and the motor was history. The pistons had holes in them. Not good for compression.
  23. It's blue.I know that doesn't help. Not exactly sure what he paid. The bike was extremely clean.Looked like it was taken care of very well.
  24. Actually just going from stock to a 70 hp. motor is a huge difference.Stock cylinders with a good port job, bigger carbs,etc...should give you alot more power.Maybe a set of cubs with the stock crank will be a "BIG" improvement over stock.Better be thinking about your suspension.100 hp. and a stock swingarm is just crazy unless you like wheelies in every gear.
  25. My brother just bought a blaster for his' son.He was told it was an 04 but it has the old front end.If I'm not mistaken, they changed up the front end in 03.Anyone have a manual that tell the vin #'s for all the year models or know where I can find it on the internet?
