  2. NYUK,just bought one from ohiobanshee. Thanks for the offer though.
  3. I'll get back with ya as soon as ohiobanshee lets me know if he has one.Thanks.
  4. Thanks. How much do ya want for it?
  5. Like it says.If anyone has a stock one for sell, please let me know.Thanks.
  6. Well,he has decided to keep it for now.Got to tuning on the carbs. and it's definitely improving. For just a stock stroke,F.A.S.T. dune/play port, kehein carbs,etc...this quad is impressive.
  7. Bet I know who you're talking about. You guys don't mind getting beat by a woman do ya?
  8. I have heard these as well as the renegades are pretty strong.
  9. Here is the only picture I have of it right now. This is an old picture. Will post newer pictures later.
  10. Forgot to mention that it also has chrome CPI inframes.
  11. One of my friends is selling a banshee he just bought from another friend of mine.He has too many toys. I know some of the history of this quad.I helped do some of the work. It has: --F.A.S.T. play/dune port --wiseco pistons --cool head --welded crank --35m.m. carbs --K&N filters --+6 swingarm It's purple and yellow.Guys this banshee was impressive when it still had stock carbs with this set-up. Very strong. He just put on the larger carbs that we'll be tuning in within the next few days. Hope to have pictures soon. He's asking $3500 o.b.o. PM me if interested.
  12. One of my friends has 2 of them.I figure he has some parts. What all do ya need?
  13. I have heard that Dr.Q can do some awesome stuff to a quadzilla.
  14. He shortened the rod? What did he do,cut part of it off and put it together with JB weld?LOL!!!! Even if this was possiable,he would of had to replace his' piston or his compression would go bye-bye. Yeah, this guy has to be blowing smoke. If he was as fast as he said, that rig would have enough nitrous to blow that piston and "shortened rod" to pieces.
  15. If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!!!!!!! A United States Marine was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan .One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist and a member of the ACLU. One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, 'God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 minutes.' The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, 'Here I am God. I'm still waiting.' It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him; knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold. The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently. The other students were shocked and stunned and sat there looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, 'What the heck is the matter with you? Why did you do that?' The Marine calmly replied, 'God was too busy today protecting America 's soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid stuff and act like an idiot. So, He sent me.'
  16. I totally agree.Make sure to talk with the person that will be doing your port work and make sure they 100% know what you want and what you'll be doing with the quad.If they are a good builder, they should know what type of porting you need for your application.
  17. You're not the only one that fear of getting body slammed has been an issue. That's one of the reasons I extended my drag banshee I had so much.If it concerns you that much,go with the +2. I think there are some +2 aluminum extenders on ebay that bolt up to your stock swingarm. Look up "banshee swingarm".They are alot cheaper than a new swingarm. Before I built the banshee I had into a drag quad,I was using one and had good results. I don't think you'll lose much rideability or traction with just a +2.
  18. I agree that this quad will probably be horrible when jumping. Also might should consider the shocks. If you're running stockers, they weren't designed for that much added weight.I'd also agree to stay away from the spacers.
  19. Yeah something is wrong. One of my friends has a banshee with a F.A.S.T. dune port with stock stroke and still 'stock' carbs and it is awesome. It would take a very serious 450 honda to run with it.Might have just got a bad port job with your's but there is alot more to being fast other than just h.p. Traction,gearing,jetting,etc... Just because it's fresh, you might still go ahead and do a compression check to try and see if something is wrong. What's your jetting, needle clip position,etc.... Are you still using the airbox? The larger carbs should help it once jetted right.
  20. yeah,I know almost nothing about snowmobile engines but have seen some out at little sahara. The ones I saw would scream.Definitely would have taken an insane banshee to run with them.
  21. All I can say is hang on!LOL! That rig should fly.
  22. Yeah,it might be but if it works out might be upgrading to a larger motor later. Just want to ease back into a drag quad. After I wrecked the last one a few years ago,I don't want to build another fast one and get hurt again.
  23. I do hope to have drag a-arms,marvin shaws, swingarm with round housing, and a drag axle. Plus hopefully will get the motor up to around 75 hp. on race gas.Maybe even a little spray if needed. Sure it won't be the fastest out there but different and hopefully fun.
