  1. Get porting, keep the pipes. Unless you get a VERY aggressive port job, those T6s work just fine. As said, 450s are no joke...they have HP and weight ratio over banshees....
  2. Hey...as long as your contempt with 1-15, zero super bowl rings in the past 10 years, 0 Super Bowl appearances instead of 4, 3 wins....that's fine with me. Hell...if we're gonna dream, let's talk about those power house Lions of the 50s....now that was a football team...(LOL) Current teams, 06, our Lions aren't that far behind the Dolphins...I'm in the same boat. Pats have been my "Second" team since I was a kid....
  3. Ok...I'll give them credit...they did win a game this year...too bad, too. They could've been the only team in history to go undefeated both ways....LOL.
  4. As long as I don't get beat up at the track...it's all good...LOL.
  5. Yeah, then the game after that... It wasn't pretty....trust me. But, they pulled it off in the end!!
  6. 72 Dolphins weren't shit.... They played 2 teams with a winning record in the regular season, and each team they played in the playoffs had a LOSING record. They were the cream of the crop that year, but the crop was shit. Look at the playoff teams the Pats played this year. That doesn't excuse them from their close loss in the SB...no doubt about it. But look at any historian of football, the 72 dolphins rarely make the top 5...
  7. I ran my Dyna on 3, plate at 5 or 6, Nology with hotwires and ran BR8ES...on my gas 4 mil cub, it was fine. I ran my Dyna part of the year last year, but went back to OEM CDI for my 10 mil dragger. Dyna tells you to run resistor plugs, Nology tells you to run non-resistor with their hot wires.... I figured since the Dyna was more expensive, I'd do what they say....no issues, but as said, I put my OEM CDI back on last year.
  8. JD... I have one chisel pulled, but you can use my tires if you want. 48 ice chisels per tire....as long as Hopper will let me borrow his. He won't have a bike ready till sand time...so, let me talk at him.
  9. In my opinion, the stock pilot is just fine since he's running a full airbox sans snorkel...even in the cold weather.
  10. I am pretty sure hondabond 4 is the same as yamabond 4...
  11. I'm gonna have to find that out myself... I've been using a very fine scotchbrite pad and WD40 on the CPIs I just got, they seem to be holding up pretty well... I like the bare look, but with PC, chrome and polished aluminum on the rest of my bike...well, you know.... Hope to see you at the track and dunes this year...promise you'll have a great time with this group.
  12. PM'd...
  13. Don't you have a 10 mil...uh, 7 mil...er, I mean 4 mil to go work on....? :whistling: :woot:
  14. Will keep an eye out as well... Do you have a preference? I get a pretty good deal on Shearers...but the chrome is what kills it. Shearer only does bare metal or SHOW chrome, which adds 150 to the price tag.....
  15. Whatcha trying to say...Shannon??
  16. If he is still using the lid (you only stated the snorkel is removed) this jetting will be fat for him... If he removed the lid and is making use of the pro flow adapter...then these are good jetting specs.
  17. I'm sure if they went to loco....she/he (midget hooker) is well used by now....
  18. So Jeffrobroskijohnson.... No problem with cases sealing with the 1211? Do you use it the same, coat both sides, assemble and torque? Tired of looking around for the bond 4....a tried and true replacement would be nice!!
  19. Or a 10 mil...complete top end, NEW chrome shearer pipes....etc.?
  20. According to Parker Yamaha.... I'd check out Three Bond's site, see what they say.
  21. I too...would be very interested in testing a 1 piece head from you as well...despite the fact I'm purchasing a different one coming up.
  22. David... The first two times I had my new build out last year, it was 100% my fault. 16cc domes ran damn good in my 4 mil on race gas in 06. It is my fault for not checking compression when I switched to a 10 mil and alky last year. I never checked...just ran it. Two trips to the dunes, less than 10 runs each time...popped Orings. Not a fuel issue...too small of a dome. Yes the stud Orings leaked...RTV and new washers sealed it...it just got to be a chore taking it off, putting it back on. When I finally got the domes cut to the right spec, it was late at night....was supposed to race the next day, and I burned the midnight oil putting it together. Yep...despite carefully assembling the head, RTV on the studs, RTV on the washers and nuts...yep...leaked again at about 1 in the morning when I was done. I had it. Put on a stocker that was cut to the same dome spec, milled and cut for an Oring... Leaked on two or three studs, RTV'd 'em...and ran it like that ALL year long. So...Dave, while I'm partially to blame...I just got tired of dealing with all of the Orings....mainly the stud Orings...to be honest. This head with 6 total Orings, not to mention looks different..pretty cool, might be my ticket. A friend and fellow racer uses one, no issues. I've always been a supporter of you, and appreciate the few times we talked on the phones and via PMs. I have absolute no doubt with your support you more than likely could've solved my problem...or at least attempted to give it your best efforts... I've just chosen a different route. BigRed350X has my old head, no issues that I know of, maybe you could include an RTV video/directions just for me.....LOL...
  23. Yeah, give it a shot, get a video camera...and have a buddy standing by with a cell phone to dial 911... Get a blinking tail light, much safer....LOL..
  24. I would stick to 4, it's semi drying and allows a little flex in the case. I'm not saying it won't work 100%, but I don't know of anyone using 5 for cases. Yamabond 4 is the same thing as Threebond 1104....scratch that, 1194 is what threebond now carries as the yamabond 4 replacement. It's been discontinued.... http://www.parkeryamaha.com/browseproducts...uid-Gasket.html
  25. 4 should be just about perfect.
