any decent machine /tool and die shop should able to lighten the flywheel and machine your stock head for cheap. :beer:

threebond is like 5$ a tube ,isnt it worth it to seal up such a big invesment as a modified banshee engine the right way ?

if your goal and budget is to run pump gas you wil leasily get equal performance out of milling your stock head for 20cc rather than a 250$ coolhead ,also they cool the same once therye up to temperature ,really only a bigger radiator will cool your bike better .But,If your dead set on getting a coolhead definitly get a noss head over the other models .good porting can increase torque and hp by over 75% on a piped banshee. adding 30lbs of static compression (ex;20cc domes)is only like a gain of 10%.down the road both should be done however. :beer:

and while that may be true to an extent ,you also would have a wild higher rpm style powerband not ideal for alot of applications or riders ,this bigger bore setup would be very versatile and yo u wouldnt need all the required goodies a cub needs either which would ultimately put you at a much higher expense.not saying its the best thing since sliced bread but if it was ported and setup right it would be a good option worht looking into for some people. :beer:

i purchased mine from a smal l local company here in nW pa. for 120$ and it does have the profire nology wires with the stainless ground straps that yo u guys all have .I later found kDcycle while browsing the net for a customer ,i didnt realize they were selling shitty non-nology wires though -good info to know :beer:

theres a lot of misinformation and myth behind it , you will increase torque by reducing rotation mass on your crank but it will be more abrupt delivery and response is greatly improved . no one ever goes back to a heavyass stocker once they have had it done .it is not expensive to undo IMO ,you can buy a stock flywheel on ebay for 35$ and sell a lightened one on there for like 90$

if it was me i would get the big bore 404 lakesmotorsports viper sleeves instead of the vitos .they have a much improved overall port design with a bridged exhaust port ,once properly ported it will make more power over a single exhaust port layout :beer:it wil lhave more exhaust area than a cheetah cub has

you can but the whole kit from KDcycles in Yuma Arizona for 120$ it is a good mod to have IMO. I noticed a difference as soon as I fired my bike up :beer:

a stock banshee flywheel weighs approx 50 ounces (yfz450 wheel only weighs 26ounces btw),I like to generally remove 10 ounces for trails and play racing ,-12 ounces for duning and the ultra light cnc cut version for straight line drags i do is -19 ounces

in theory you should win but theres stil l that chance .he may not have porting but he has a good setup of mods for that bike and wil l have alot mroe lowend power .also he wil l probably track the ground alot better than you . get a good holeshot without spinning too much
