  1. its not easy to explain 2 stroke porting and theres so many variables and theorys behind it that the porting really needs to be done by an expert to wring each drop of power out of a cylinder ,port mapping and squish band /dome/timing/ fuel choice configurations have to all be taken in account for ,so its pretty impossible to write up that kind of experiance and knowledge into a post to ansewer these types of questions,instead it makes more sense to dierect a person to a known engine builder with a good reputation and power results,if yo uwere any kind of engine builder youd probably understand these concepts .

  5. ported R like that id say mid 170's main with a mid 50's pilot but there are so many variables if he picks 175 main and 55 pilot IMHO it should be fairly close and then you can see how it "acts" and then do a "plug chop" i think it should go something like this on that bikes jetting anyways: 160 being the leanest and 185 being richest main 50 being leanish and 60 being rich pilot

  9. i guess Matt shearer is a liar when he said to me its basically just his off the shelf production banshee inframe with their name stamped on it and yes alot of peeps on here and planet sand like rdz racing ,but dollar for dollar ,there just not gonna make the power a cub makes especially for their prices
  10. rdz is actually a shearer pipe and their porting is ridiculous expensive but they do a good job according to alot of peeps who ru ntheir stuff . dont waste your time and money porting stock jugs if you want a true drag port ...instead id do what i did ,and jus t buy a cheetah kit and be done with it IMHO
  11. because the mikunis are big pieces of shit ,and very bullky in size too ,ive ran both and learn fro mmy pain ,save yourself alot of aggrevation and time and just get the keihin pwks ,theyre alot better trust me. your gonna bolt the mikunis up and its gonna run like shit and when yo u ask someone what to change ... theyre gonna be like " i dont phukin know what to tell ya ... why didnt you just get keihn race carbs ?"

  17. i totally agree it takes alot of mods to get a 450cc joke in a quad frame to hit a true 51 rwhp . especially if it can do it with a quiet restricitve pipe that im sure it will have on it . i definitly think thats not gonna happen, maybe 40rwhp at best. it looks good like an old school R imho. as usual im sure a stock banshee with a just set of T5s will smoke it .
  18. why not do a screamining banshee face coming out of the hood?,that makes more sense IMHO. the same skulls arent doin it for me or the alien face or anything with a maltese cross on it .it is a pretty good idea though for the sand crowd but trail riders dont want their $$$ plastic face all fuct up by branches
  19. even if they did make a template for lowend, it will not beneift you as much as sending the jug out to a qualified builder. it takes lots of experiance to get the sizes shapes and locations correct so it has instant ballz right off idle on a parallel twin 350 ..templates ca n offer decent gains ,but they dont alter the transfer ports, which any reputable engine tuner will tell you is a huge part of a good port job regardless of its rpm and riding style ,id send it out to make the maximum torque at lowest rpm possible that your stock jugs are capable of instead of just a "little " more bottom end from a template my.02 anyways
  20. if your wife is small framed id get a new blaster.. mine loves her new blaster and for the price of these peppy lil' bastards you can afford to buy her a new or newer one .the blaster is alot better now than the older ones before 03 '. my wife loves hers and wouldnt trade it for any of the new four strokes shes tested ,for a 5'4- 110 pund frame its a great size .its easy to throw around at just a little over 300 lbs ,starts easy,and requires very littel investment to speed up .if she wants more power later than you can easily get a ton more out of it . she'll enjoy sharing the oil mixing duties and maintenance with you and itll help her understand quads and repairs & modifications this way too.its not right for every wife out there , but it should definilty be considered IMHO
