check your cable adjustment first. if you just replaced the clutch, it will likely need adjusting. also its possible something in the clutch isnt put together right. i went through this with my ninja when the dealer gave me the wrong size clutch plates. also you can check to see if the plates are warped. hope its just the cable.

well ive had my frame for a few weeks now and have looked at like every post on this site it seems, but i still cant make up my mind on a color combination sooo...... im gonna start on building a motor first plus it gets rid of the expensive stuff first. frame is black chrome powder which doesnt show up great in pics but looks just like chrome to me only darker. i plan on polishing my whole motor and anything else i can other than hubs and lil pieces ill powder. i was thinking of either going black or white and adding a third color for hubs and stuff maybe a candy color..... or i was thinking yellow,orange,blue or green with matching hubs etc. any opinions might help but till then ill build my motor.

looks like those grooves would pack up with dirt to me.

im in camden county. blackwood area. havent ridden quads in like 5 yrs so i dont really know any spots. they keep building around here everywhere i used to ride or cops patrol. it sucks.

the exhaust is leo vince titanium headers carbon fiber muffler. really light and sounds like a formula 1 car.

as some of you may know by now im in the planning stages of my frame up build.... if i go with a 4 mil stroker 421 cylinder motor agressive dune or mild drag port,with cpi inframe pipes,vforce 3 reeds etc etc and im basically duning/hillclimbing/dragging....... what size carbs should i use? 35s? 38s? etc

yeah dude if thats been running with no airbox for awhile its a ticking timebomb. if i were you itake apart the engine and at least clean it up and replace what looks bad at the least. it sucks if your miles in the woods and it blows up. trust me its happened to me!

also if your talking about the dirtbike motor and not the quad, it wont be counterbalanced and will vibrate you to death if the firing squad dont get ya lol.

fast ive seen videos of your 4mils and i know they definitely roll! the thing is moneywise im building from scratch so i gotta buy cylinders anyway. it might take me awhile since im outta work but if i can b uy a piece here and a piece there,in the long run,i think ill be much happier. i want to go aftermarket on almost every part even it takes a yr to build. i really enjoyed building my last bike like that and the pride that comes with it when your done. if you have any advice id really appreciate it!

i definitely thought about the green but i think itd remind me of my tecate i loved so much but was stolen. id still consider it maybe because i know itd look great. ok how bout some pics of the blue and some of the green if anybody has them. on a side note next week im either buying cases or a swingarm. let the build begin!
