well, i talked to the guy today and he's doing the work to it. he just wanted me to find parts and other info. i was talking to his cuz before. he didnt need a crank, so good deal there. he just need the basic top-end and gaskets. thanks for the reply.

pretty much nut sounds like a dumb fuck. the 250R i bought about a yr ago was in the same shape(bald tire, sprocket shift and crank seals all blown out, junk piston,chain tightener busted, cracked frame and twisted, blown shock, no rear brakes, etc.), SO QUITE FUCKING CRY ABOUT IT! do what i did, fix whats wrong with it and sell the fucking thing. if i would have been smart, i would have never bought it, but i did, fixed it and now it runs like it was brand new off the showroom.

before u start bashing, maybe u should ask ppl who have run with alba. i put their kit in an 03 about a yr ago and no probs yet. i def. recommend it to anyone who wants more power. i personally plan on getting it once i get a shee and blow the crank out of it.

i knew that much, i was just mainly seeing if 85 TRX parts will go in an '85 ATC but thanks for the reply he also wanted me to find a rebuild kit for the carb. he said it was a "Klin" or "kelin" never heard of the 1st one

i usually do about 5 hrs or so, but ud better off doing more to make sure its all together. i built my buddy's 03 (400 crank, top-end) and the day after i got it running, he decided to race another buddy's YFZ and locked it up (maybe less then 1/2 half hr), but got lucky that i didnt fuck anything up

he mainly wants me to find the whole topend, lowend and all the gaskets to put it together is from what i caught. i had bad service on my cell, but i think this is what he is looking for. ill find out for sure tomorrow

Motor wise, what is different btwn the ATC 250R and the TRX 250R? A buddy of might has an 85 ATC he wants me to find parts for so that is y im asking

the crank case holds nothing. the clutch and tranny case hold 1.5 qt maybe more. my 250 only hold 1
