  1. yea I had my t6s turned blue, but my CPI's didnt much. Ive heard its what kind of chrome job it has. some chrome jobs are good and others not so good.

  3. I had t6's and they ran great but I bought some CPI's which you dont want really riding on tight trails. but with port work the t6s didnt make as much HP as my friends t5s. The t5s in the long run would have been the best choice. whats bad about t6s are nobody wants to buy them once their used. I practically gave mine away.

  5. my needle is the stock needle that came with the carbs, the air screw is out 1.25 turns out. Im thinking about turning it out 2.5 turns out and working my way from their.on my dyno it runs straight from 5500 to 5800 then dipps down 5 hp from 23 hp to 18 hp then at 6200 rpm it jets up nice and smooth to 8800 rpm. at 8800 rpm it levels out then goes up again to 71 hp at 9900 rpm.my air/fuel mixture jets up to 17 at 6800. my first dyno with stock carbs goes to 15.75 at 7 grand nice and contoured. Im sick and tired of -ucking with these carbs. my stock carbs where so easy. I wish I new how to down load this dyno but Ive tried everything.
  6. I put 35 PWK's on my shee and it has never been jetted right. Ive dynoed it and the thing is running rich during idle,plus it dies while idleing. then the dyno said its running lean on low end. below half throttle. I was told that I need a set of different needles. anyone have any answers. one other thing Im making 2hp less with this setup, than I am with stock carbs. it feels more powerfull. if that makes any since.Im using 138 main jets and 58 pilots. and I cant raise the idle at all.
  7. I drag race alot so sandstars are out of the question plus I already have the set. Im looking for some skat trac haulers. what I need to know is 8 paddle or 9 paddle. and for dirt tires anyone heard of I-razers any one hate them or like them. I need something that will clean up good. skat trac sells a paddle like the sand and desert tire, I cant decide.
  8. Im looking for two different sets of tires. # 1 is the size of skat trak hauler I need for a 71HP shee with stock swing arm how many paddles 8,9,or 10. The next is I need a new set of dirt tires for sand and dirt. At appalatia bay at keystone lake is dirt but has sand on the beaches the four pokers always get me at the start I take off and they jump out ahead of me I catch them but my tires are maxxis MX's and they just spin. Im thinking of Ohotsu's or maxxis I razers which one or do u know something better. thiers rocks and roots so u cant really take paddles their.
  9. Yea if you look at the 3rd pic you can see the fiddle on the back of the spider. not the big round part but the smaller part of the back. its black. cool Eh!
  10. If you have CPI's I think toomey tailpipes will work and they have a slip on S A that will work.
  11. I'm Dave Im 35 and I live in Independence Ks. lived here for 10 yrs. Im from Claremore Oklahoma. There both about 3.5 hrs east of Little Sahara.
  12. I have a 05 banshee and a 01 raptor. for a girl the raptor all the way, my daughter hates my shee and loves my raptor. Its so easy to ride more grunt in all gears. She says she is always shifting and doesnt like my powerband which hits hard. The raptor is smooth and predictable.

I am a A&P mech and I work for Cessna working on 172's, 182's,206's in the flight dept and for the last year I have been training and building the new Mustang Jet. we just completed the third and are working on the forth mustang. I install the oxygen,pitot static, fresh air, some cold air, and some of the fuel system and the left turbine.
  14. I have a 05 F250 and I love it its twice the truck my friends Dodge is. The only good thing about a dodge is the cummins. The ford, well the whole truck is sweet.

  16. hey dunegirl Im going this year again I'm going to put up camp a week early and relax then hit it hard during the weekened. And what time do they close that trail at night. My friends and I went to a concert last year during sand fest and didnt get back till late. They never closed the gate and the concert was shit.
  17. my good friend has them and I walk away from him with my cpi's', so much that he is going to get a set of CPI's. They cost 550.00 compared to 700.00 or more for PT's.
  18. well I got back to the first dyno I stayed for this one and it ran at 67hp also, but when we started rejetting he went from a 150 jet to a 138 and then found out the adj on top of the carb was way out and they didnt synch the carbs. I got screwed basicly they half assed it, and gave it to me. I figured N motion would do a better job. so any way after we got done it was making 71hp which is a one HP down from the stock carbs but it has alot more grunt and power through the pull of each gear. its lean down on the low end and he said a different needle will give more HP down low and go throughout the pull to the high end. possibly one to four HP. does that make since or is everyone dumber now.Oh and yes I clean my filter every time I go ride. I cant wait to hit the drags at little sahara, to bad it took a extra hour and ahalf longer on the dyno and alot of cash, but shes cheery now.
  19. I start my shee up with my choke on then as soon as it starts I turn the choke off and use the throttle for the first half minute then its good. it smokes half the amount.
  20. make sure your air filter is clean, and if that doesnt do it go up one jet size till it feels good. you wont be able to pull in 6th gear all the time it all depends what your on, sand or hard pack dirt. get your bike ported and youll pull in 6th all day.

I had my shee built up 4 mil crank, case packed, flywheel lightened, better pistons, longer rods, and other extras end result 72 HP. went and got 35 mil carbs is set a little to rich on bottom end and ran on a different dyno and only got 67 HP the dyno's name is heart breaker. still runs like a bat out of hell and I havent been able to race my buddy with the same set up but stock carbs yet.They ran neck and neck before.

  24. I have a 2 in 1 air filter and I dont have a air box at all. the problem I had is my filter just sets hanging from my carbs. So I have to zipp tie them up so they dont hang down or come off. As long as u clean the rubbers and they dont have any grease on them they will stay good and tight. like they say always keep an eye on them every chance u get.
  25. Nice board I see the four outside fins does it have any inthe middle total of six. I use a hyperlite premier 135. going out today as a matter of fact (Sat) mem weekened Elk city lake. hope u have fun. By the way since u have a new board I hope u have better luck keeping ur friends out of it, they sure can beat it up, thats why I have two now one for me and one for my friends. Ha Ha.
