  1. Thanks to all for your help. All advice helped me make my decision to go with the Raptor as my first bike in years. Thanks. All have been great and if goes well should have the title & bike in hand next week.
  2. Thanks for the honest opinion. Think im leaning more towards the Raptor, think it is better suited for a female and what I want. Thanks all have been so helpful. Will let u know what I pick up.
  3. Yea I searched but all I found was Banshee racing a raptor. I asked which is better on trails. If theres a topic about that point me in that direction but I didnt find it.
  4. Banshee vs Raptor? Which is better suited for trail riding? This might not be the best forum to place this question but hopefully I can get some none bias feed back. I want a bike that will be probably be ridden equally on the trails and raced. Raced - for me is keeping up with the pack no drag & definately not for cash. Also maintence is an issue an up keep is an issue. Here's my options 03 Shee that is race ready, well maintaned vs an 03 Raptor that has barely been riden. I am a female if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance for all the help.
  5. New to the world of 4 wheelers, used to ride when I was young but that was a while back so excuse me if this is a dump question but what do u mean by the "top end". Also, after I ride before putting it up is there anything I should do?
  6. New to the site and the world of Banshee. Was looking around for a trail bike and an old friend is selling his 03 Banshee race ready for $3500. So I took a look at it. Has normal wear and tear and a lot of custom work done to it. I was looking to get a Rapptor but this to me from my research and what I know seems to b a good deal. Found this comment online that has me wondering should I go with something else: "Also you have a little more maitenance w/ a two stroke. more fouled plugs, gas going bad and cleaning your spark arrestor." R these things hard to do, r something that if showed a person that isnt a mechanic could do? What general maintence will I be facing if I purchase this bike? Thanks in advance for all your help.
