I bought a works rear shock about a year ago - used on ebay. Anyways, they guy said it was set up for a +2 swingarm, 190 lb rider. So I go to put it on my banshee (with stock swingarm) and it was too long to fit! Now ive put friends stock shocks on their + swingarms, but never vice versa. I'ver also seen stock rear shock revalved for a +12 (obviously same length, not longer). So while I'm waiting for my swingarm, can you guys tell me if this is normal? any performance benefits of longer shock, or is the longer shock just to offset the banshee sitting up really high in rear.......
