I ride at silver lake also - count me in by the way, if you do not run paddles, it sucks! turf tamers just dont cut it man, all they do is spin. You go SO much faster with paddles, and launch SO much harder. I would never even think about riding SL w/o paddles. I have a few extra set around here (NOT for sale). If we meet up, you could use a set no problem. I have 8,9,and 10 paddle skat trak haulers, strait paddles. These are THE dune paddle to have. The molded ones sucks, except for sand skate 2s, but ive heard good things about those new sand stars. email me and well set up a SL trip

yeah! im romeo, it was 67 degrees the other day, then it snowed that night. go figgure thats ok, cause the snowmobanshee loves the mud!

id go through the frame with the chain, or maybe through the hubs if there is room or the brake rotor if you can - then it wont be drivable for sure, or even movable. armor all is the shizzle!

it handels just fine - expecially with the independent front and rear suspension it is longer than a banshee, so turning radius is larger - but thats expected, especially when you cant use as much body english like you can on a banshee

no - i did not make it - i oculdnt build something like this - its TOO damn custom! I'm selling it because it will not fit in friends trailer to go out to the dunes, and I do not want to drive it out with my fathers truck everytime i want to use it. than and the fact i am selling most of my toys right now. Im just keeping 2 quads total.

well funny thing is, i have no idea what year the motor is (early to mid 80s), how many miles, or anything about it! I just know it runs strong. hp? no idea it does weigh quite a few more lbs how quick is it? well i only ran it with the 41 tooth sprocket on it, and it scooted along pretty good, and now is has a 52 tooth one on it. I never put the new chain on, or fixed the petcock. hope this answers your questions

I am currently looking for a trailer for my quads! I am wondering what you guys think the best setup is.... Sure an enclosed trailed with a v nose would be nice, but too damn expensive for me right now. I'm thinking about one that will hold 4-5 quads, not enclosed, possiblt a side ramp to ride up or ride off. what do you guys have? any pictures? whats the best trailer setup you have seen?

You guys are a bunch of worry warts! Silver lake is easy to get into on a non-holiday weekend! you just get up at 8 and waiting line until 9, then u get in and ride until 9pm! I plan on going to all 3 this year, so whatever! I go to silver lake every month, so i guess i could skip the SL and go to indiana! But if you want the big dogs to race, you better head to Silver Lake, the best dunes East of the Mississippi (maybe the only ones) heres some pics od Silver Lake if imagestation is finally working:
