Thanks for the reply. I'll probably end up taking a look at it anyway, check the compression. What is a decent amount of compression for this bike? I've been out of the Banshee loop for quite some time. Is there any accurate way to test the compression if I can't find my tester?

So I've found a Banshee for sale, in great condition really cheap. The seller says he believes it needs a crank seal. This is what he says: "It ran good last year but I think it needs a crank seal (builds up pressure in the gear case and oil leaks out the vent tube). This year when I pulled it out of the garage to take pictures, I couldn't get it to do anything other than bog when I hit the throttle." Does this sound accurate? How much does it cost on average to have a crank seal done?

The ad is gone.. what was it? I know a good deal about moder four stroke MX bikes. I've had quite a few of my own.

Any idea on how it would work to sell it to me? I live in Ontario. I don't know about the border and all that stuff. I'm looking for a Banshee around that price and the pickings are slim up here.

Take off the gas cap. Push the Rancher off of a cliff and slide a Banshee underneath the gas cap. Do it up. You just made your Rancher very fast.

My next set of tires will be Razr 2's. They work well for everything really.

Choke, gas, all switches on. 2 slow primer kicks and 1 or 2 good hard kicks and its running. Hold the throttle about 1/4 throttle for a min or so then turn choke off and go.

If you ride dirtbikes they way they are meant to be ridden (Standing up, hammering the whoops etc.) a thumber is almost impossible to use.

Alright cool. I just want to run pretty much stock domes. I don't need anty wild power gains, and my bike is stock. I just want it to be running again. Are they easy to install?

Well since my SHee needs a new head hasket, I was thinking this would be a great time to install a cool head, or hemi head or something. But do I need to rejet after installation? And what about the domes, what size do I need to run? Thanks for the help.
