The cascade lever is the way to go! I recently installed them on both Banshee's I own & it helped alot!!

the length isn't that critical, as long as they don't touch the pipes. sounds like you fixed the problem!

It seems like the market for used Banshee's has gone to shit in some parts of the country. The price varies greatly depending on where you live, & how much your local dealer is selling new ones for. I can buy new for $5450.00 here, so used 'Shee's aren't bringing that much. By the way, you've got a great looking 'Shee. It would probably be worth $3500. Check Fleabay for similar ones in your part of the country.

I had a problem with mine overheating occaisonaly-sometimes it seemed fine and other times it would slighlty overheat. Found it to be the driven plastic gear on the water pump impeller. I replaced the gear & installed a high-volume impeller. No problems since!!!

Look on Ebay. I bought triple-rate Works w/remote res. for $520 & am very happy with them. Took about 4 weeks to get them built.

Toomey's are the best pipe if you are NEVER planning to do any port work. They were designed to be the ultimate pipe for the "UNPORTED" 'Shee engine, & I think they are. I've got the TR6's on my '01 along with a Noss Head, Trinity 2n1 35 single carb & am very happy with the power & ridability. The build quality-welds, chrome, fit, & silencers are great.

I'm using the Toomey. No complaints. Seems built well & fits great.

I've got a '01 Shee with TR6 Toomey's & the Trinity single 35 kit. It runs great & sure is easier to tune!

I ordered some for my tr6 pipes & they fit perfect. Do you have T-5 or T-6 pipes? They use a different part number.

Let's see! I've ridden in the mountains of Colorado, the dunes at Little Sahara in Oklahoma, fast & slow trailriding at our local dry riverbed. Looks to me like the 'Shee covers it all! Didn't even mention MX- 'cause I don't give a shit about it!

I'd trade it for a "Shee with Toomey pipes. ANY YEAR, EVEN IF I HAD TO PAY EXTRA TO BOOT!!

I've had a pair of works triple rate w/rezzies for about two months now & am very satisfied with them. They are sprung much softer for casual riding so you don't feel every bump & ridge you ride over, but they do a good job of soaking up landings on jumps. I know there are better shocks out there, but works are pretty good for their price.

I've had them on for over two months now & think their great!! The're much softer when casual riding-you don't feel every damn bump & track you cross at low speeds & they soak up the landing on big jumps. I'm very happy with them overall. Mine cost $520.00 & took about 30 days to get custom built for my weight.

Get rid of the craptor or get ready to spend a sh*tload of money rebuilding the tranny. I've got a buddy that bought an '01 Craptor & it puked twice. I think the shee tranny is bulletproof

If you're serious about power, dump the single carb setup. I have one & it's not the hot set-up for serious horsepower.

Noss Machine has a chart on their website that gives estimated cranking pressure with different dome sixes. I think race gas is required on anything over 160 lbs of cranking pressure.
