  4. no im no stud i just like fast toys. yes cubs may be a bit much for some of the places i ride, but i would really like to 80-90 hp for the ice because honestly i do most of my riding in the winter. i wasnt trying to come off as an idiot who wants all kinds of power i cant use.. just trying to figure out a good set up for the cubs when or if i get them.. I am happy with the set up i have right now but id just like a little more.. maybe i'll just go with a good port job on my stock cyliders.. just checking things thats all

  6. well brad i love your numbers, but i need to be realistic, i live in maine with no dunes or anything like that, so i mostly ride sand pits, fast trail, and fire roads, so i guess i would be looking for good all around numbers, what kind of port would you recomend, i have a set of 34mm carbs not fitted yet bet anyway all input helps thanks

  10. thanks guys i'll try the cheap route for now, i appreciate itm the reason im going with keihins , is because a friend of mine has the whole kit from alba brand new in the box and is selling them to me for 200 bucks, (carbs, manifolds,throttle cable and boots)

  12. well ice racing is around the corner and last year when taking corners the inside carb would run out gas. (we race circle track) pretty good size track, usually in 3rd and 4th gear so the corners are fairly long. i'll be swaping out my stock carbs for keihin 34mm pj's whether or not that makes a difference i don't know. any ideas how i can fix that problem? thanks

  15. i know you guys are gonna think im a dip shit but where do you line up the degree marks on the plate to advance the timing. is there a refferance point on the cases that i'm missing.. again sorry for the novice question thanks

  17. i understand that but what is the the design differrence between the two. pro design's site just says there is a "slight difference between the two" sory if i was unclear
  18. what is the diff. between the manifolds for V-force reeds and non-V-force reeds, any help would be appreciated, thanks Brian
  19. this sounds exactly like what mine was doing, and it ended being the choke tube between the carbs, i put it back on and was fine,
  20. just have to put on my ice tires and wait for the small ponds to harden up
  21. i went down today at like 2:00 with 3 other guys, had a pretty good time. just a little cold when you stop. hopefully i can make down one more time before winter really gets here. alot of f-ing water on the trails from Eds Grove , is there any other easier way to go?

  23. there is a hardware store that some people park at, or across the road there is an old store thats been closed , and that is where most people park now.

  25. on trinitys site it says you can adjust the timing curve with this ignition, now does this do the same thing as the adjustable timing plate. proly a dumb question just like to know before buying mods
