well I got her running cleaned the air filter cleaned the carbs took the reeds out and flipped them, it still took a bit to get it started but fired up and has started up everytime since........now my lights wont work thanks for the help fellers

the reeds are boyesen carbon reeds. ok i i put the choke on and it sputtered so about 500 more kicks it sputtered some more put the choke half on and off nothing but with the choke on and kicking it 1000 time it will start not runn you touch the gas and its over.......do you need a gasket if you take your reeds out or can you just put them back in? any ideas? jetting was fine last time i rode

choke tube had a kink in it cut it made sure everything was good still nothing

well the plugs will get wet, ive drained the gas out of the carbs bowls numerous times. yeah switch is on even turned it off still nothing. i keep checking for spark and everytime its a big blue spark. but with the plugs in the motor it acts like it isnt even firing.

Well the shee wont start. checked for spark and it seems to be good. seems to be getting gas. compression feels good havnt checked it with a gauge but it feels good by hand. it doesnt even act like it is going to start it has no tors nothing of the sort any ideas?

scooter sounds like maybe you had a ring stuck or something. I don't recommend pulling any atv too start it, could cause even worse problems. DIRTMAN test you electrical equip and post back I'm positive the guys on here will help you get it running right.

Shee needs air/fuel/spark to run. if one of these things arent happening there your problem if you say you have weak spark that could be your problem get a multimeter and test stator and coil to see what your read outs are from there on its process of elimination...............do a search

RICKY STATOR SUCKS BALLS!!!! I just went through the same thing with a coil now I have 2 bad coils because ricky stator says they checked it out and it's fine but when switched to a known running shee it wont work !!! I would love to blow the piss out of that place with a big ass bomb

I was searching around when I came across a discussion about ported reed cages. There were a few links showing how it is done one. 1 was this a mill, the other wasn't very good. anyway I know this is highly debatable between you all but does it really work? and would it even be woth finding and old set of cages to do this to? if no gains are made and I wouldnt feel anything then it's not worth my time .........any info?

Is there any cdi's that you can buy that are not adjustable and cheap I've seen a few but have searched all over about info on them.(the punisher, and rev max boxes) any info?

well I need it to replace stock cdi box it's bad so i guess I'll just go to a dyna unless someone knows of a cheaper cdi
