  1. i can get a set of rz cases with jugs for $90 with no damage I knew the jugs would work but I called a couple of freinds and all of the were saying that the rz cases wont work only the gears from them

  3. what's up guys, started it, let it warm up today took it down the road spun a chain and busted my case, so figured I'd see if any of you all on here might have a set of cases uncracked with no damage. let me know something later

  5. I've made the swap feel a little different than the banshee throttle, but all in all I like it better, and yes a banshee cable will work.
  6. Thanks Dunedemon, just checked it out, I'm wanting to put a 200lb spring on it too does anyone know who can rebuild it and respring it for around $200, if not looks like I'll be doing it myself, thanks alot
  7. I came to the conclusion today that my rear shock needs a severe rebuild. I done a search on here looking for the rebuild kit and found all kinds of info but no links. anyone know of any places a can get the kit for a rebuild. thanks alot guys

  12. Ok yesterday it would run but it didnt have all the power so I started messin with it abit checking to see if I had spark and what not. Then I took off my stator cover and out poored milky water and soon as the bolt were loose i tried starting it with the stator cover off and now it wont run, it will hit but it will not start. In the last 3 days I have went throgh all my electrical,cleaned carbs,checked for spark, and then then the stor cover now it will not run at all, any suggestions would be nice, and are 250r's this much trouble?

  14. Ok Guys Went Through All my Harness got it all working and running right. let it warm up, took it done came back checked my plugs one is nice and brown on the right side and the other is wet. When you start it the right side runs nice and he pipe gets hott but that a differnt story on the left it couldnt melt butter. I just came up from a new topend, new stator,new coil. This thing has lost me. So I have decided to do a compression check and have checked all over this place but cant find the nu,ber for a stock banshee, so could you guys tell me what the numbers should be on mine thanhs alot guys
  15. It's all stock except for the the exhaust, I have completely removed the TORS. The spark plugs, look fine, I had it in the shop, after my rebuild because I couldnt get any spark. While it was in there they put a new coil on it and tested the stator andsuch and it ran fine for 2 days after i got it back from the shop. Until I washed it then it ran like crap. I sprayed it off again yesterday and just put it up. Now there is no Fire or Spark and it won't even run. I called the shop and the were saying that the people before me just butchered the wiring on it and that they had to replace alot of stuff just piecing it together. So that is basically the only leads I have. The top end has been rode on 3 times, So I know that couldn't be the reason I was loosing all my power . The only 2 factors I really have is my wiring harness and the jets in my carbs. My jets will be here tomorrow, and Tomorrow I'm going to rip apart my harness and replace every wire in it. I dont really want to re-use the Connectors but if I have to that will be ok. Has anyone ever done this to their harness and Does anyone know if you can just buy new Connectors or if you absolutley have to use your old ones. Thanks for the info guys

I just got my banshee all back together, I've had it running for 2 days for the first 2 days it ran real strong. after I got got done riding on the second day I washed it off, I started it up let it run then took it down the road and back then put it up. I went the next day to ride and it started up fine but then just started running like crap. The engine sounds strong and the top end isnt even a week old. when its just sittin it runs fine. but then after you put a load on it it just acts like it dont want to run. the bands arent as powerful and your lucky to wind out 4th gear even luckier to see 5th or 6th. Since then I've cleaned the carbs put new gas in it and checked my plugs. The guy at my local shop say that I need to put bigger jets in it because it running lean. Ive been mixing my oil 32:1 and I have bigger jets on the way 260's to be exact. I just dont understand it has anyone else had these problems. thanks for the help
  17. I have 2 bikes I'm going through one being a J-arm. I have been reading around and seen the J-arm to A-arm conversion kits you can buy the only place I have seen these is at atv racing. Just wondering if any of you guys knew some sites to get this kit cheaper. Also my g/fs dad is a mechinist and i was also wondering if any body had all the angles heights pretty much the prints to make you own conversion and the kind of piping would be alot cheaper on my end, thanks alot
  18. I can get a good deal on some namura pistons for my shee, but i have never heard of them and I also here they're cast and not forged..... thought I'd come to the experts and see what the lowdown was on them thanks alot
  19. Sorry guys, you know how it is when your at work........they are 18'' ADR Titans, hypersilver, and they are 4 lug, these are brandnew and they retail for $350 a piece. I do have a pic so if need be let me know

  22. Hey guys, going through a ground up rebuild on a 91 Banshee, I'm going to have my frame and swingarm repainted and get it all looking nice. I started having troubles when i came to the swingarm pivot bolt, that thing is in there, I've done everything to try and get that thing out and it will not budge, has anybody else had this problem also greese and wd-40 do not budge it, it might as well be welded in there
