  1. Fork out the 700 bones, it will be the best 700 you'll spend on your banshee.
  2. Happy New Year!! Though it's sucks for me right now. All the patient's family members think they have to come visiting after a night of drinking and they are 3 sheets to the wind. WTF are people thinking. Hell had to have cops escort 2 people out tonight. It's not a good night to work in a hospital.
  3. He said ranking. lol
  4. Happy Birthday you all!!!
  5. Happy Birthday again. lol
  6. Personally I would keep the T5's, they will benefit later mods, if you so choose, better than the T6's. If you want chrome, take them to a chrome shop and get them plated. As for your airbox, yes it's easy to go back to stock and you might PM NYUK and see if he has the airbox and possibly an adapter boot for your single carb. If not, check e-bay, generally you will find the air boxes with a filter adapter ring already installed and maybe a filter if your lucky.
  7. Meat TBZ was number 2 right behind BHQ just a few weeks ago.
  8. That would look cool strapped to the top of your flag while riding the dunes at night. You could locate your buddies anywhere.
  9. There is a Ducman over there, he's been there since 2000 that I know of when the site was 929rr.net forum.
  10. Generally 180 to 200 a set polished.
  11. Stu that thing looks like a dart gun or a paper bong, wtf.
  12. Link didn't work. Is it regarding lasers and planes?
  13. Yea the newer 04 R1's redline at 13,750 rpms. I'm like you, my 00 929 would hit 135 at redline in 3rd. It redlines at 12,500 though. I've really never ran it to redline in 1st, other than doing a wheelie, and who can look at the speedo doing a wheelie redlined in 1st . I may go and test it tonight since the weather is nice. God knows I better go out in the country cause I'm sure town folk won't appreciate 12,500 rpm in first with a D&D exhaust.
  14. Well you can't go wrong with the fmf fatties. I've always said their probably one of if not the best all around pipe made. They do have their faults but it's not in the performance, just the finish. They rust a little easier than I like but some poeple it doesn't bother. I just like a finish to last that I payed for. You will notice a night and day diff too. Others will chime in here with some great recommendations too. Good luck with your decision.
  15. Oil and gas can and do seperate. They have different densities so they naturally want to seperate. Though the technology in good 2 stroke oils have additives to increase miniscibility to prevent seperation. I can't say all 2 stroke oils have this cause I don't know. Banchetta, one thing to consider is that the gas in your carb bowls will evaporate leaving the oil at the bottom, which can thicken and basically gum to the bottom and it can be difficult to get off if left long enough. I've never had problems with oil settling even in my gas can that has set put almost 4 months. Then again not all oils are created equal so some may settle and some may not.
  16. Amen brotha!!!
  17. Cole your saying you guys run these bikes up to 160mph? (I'm not buying my bike's at Maxey's anymore, Also it would have 3 gears left. 3rd gear at 7000 rpm shouldn't be no where near 160 though, redlined in 3rd would be closer to 160, of course that's close to 14k rpm too.
  18. With those mods I would recommend the dual Keihin 35mm PWK's IMO. They work outstanding with my shee and our mods are similiar.
  19. Well you don't necessarily have to change gears to go faster. You can also increase your motors ability to rev higher. Which I think the RC kit does with the cam installed. Horsepower can also increase top speed, assuming that a quad in top gear is unable to hit it's max rpm for lack of power to get there. So RPM has a lot to do with top speed also. There is a point, once the rpm is maxed to the limit, no more speed can be gained unless you change your gears or increase rpm with engine mods.
  20. Tithead your still just a baby. Happy Birthday you all!!!!
  21. Well 2 strokes aren't hard to work on, they just require the know how. Comes with time and experience. If you want a quad to throw gas in it and go that will last forever, yea get a 400ex. The banshee is just not for everyone. Like I've always said, some people like to take the convertible miata out for a weekend stroll and some like to take their classic muscle cars. Different STROKES for different folks.
  22. Hell I didn't even see the fronts.
  23. Might check with Rocketpig (Brock) from Trinity Racing send him a PM. Not sure if your ported at all but it would be great to at least have them clean up your ports a little if your not interested in a full port job. They can also get you anything you need for your motor and bhq members get a discount. Call Trinity and ask for Brock if you wish. He'll make sure your taken care of.
  24. Standard Renthals. I'd like some double wall renthals, though It's probably more likely to bend the stem that way instead of the bars. I'd rather risk the bars I recon.
