Outerwears need to step up their quality for one thing, I'd like to see a double layered unit and possibly something more durable than the material they use.
Looks like most of the stuff was accidental while trying insane stuff, but wtf was that dude thinking sitting on his cab while his truck was going down the road?
I think all the lighter weight oils have the gas saving friction modifiers with moly. I use the 15w-50 mobil 1 racing oil in my tranny which is void of all the gas saving garbage. I've used it in my banshee since break in as well as my crotch rocket, never a problem.
I paid around 60 for the kit. You will only use one line so you will have a spare if anything ever happens. I see these kits going upwards of 100 to 150 and more. It pays to shop around. I know I paid too much for the ones on my truck. I may also get the cascade rad soon, man they look good. I want it and an aluminum fuel tank.
Rebuilding the shocks set-up for the +3 will cost you more because not only will it require softer spring but valves and seals. If your shocks you have now are set-up for your riding style and have recently been rebuilt then all they will need is a recharge after your rezi's are added. Also do what DD suggested and contact Oscar at Works. He will defintely break it down for you.
Off of Ebay, from a place autoparts4less, something like that. Very reasonable compared to any other places I checked. Well worth the money and they work fantastic and look killer.
So you bought the Cascade unit aye? Good choice btw.
Yea the regular automotive size heater hose should work fine. Their is plenty of stainless steel hose manufacturers of the stuff. I used flexikool.
Well ummm, I thought hey, if we do a different geometry frame, lets do it out of aluminum. It's lighter and stronger and yea you can polish it, never thought about polishing it though.
Ok you caught me.
