  1. Make sure the little tors black box is gone. Next make sure your crossover tube is connected and make sure you have no leaks. Do a leak down test if you haven't already. Do those things and if it doesn't fix it then let us know.
  2. Check the o-rings that seal the chambers to the exhaust port. Sometimes they just go bad.
  3. I'm with rocketboy on this one. I've done it both ways. I'll take doing it in the frame any day over pulling the motor. I only pull the motor if the cases need split. Granted it is easier to work on out of the frame, that's a given. But with the added work of undoing all the nuts and bolts, chain etc from the frame, it's just so much easier leaving it in when it's said and done. It's just a set of juggs and pistons, no biggy. The front center nuts are hard to get to no matter how you slice it. I took a wrench and gound the edges thinner so it would fit around the nut.
  4. I can say the Trinity's work excellent on the 421 cub.
  5. A company can bring in 1.5 million dollars but have 1.6 million in expenditures.
  6. For chrome that's rusty, spray them down with wd-40 and let them soak for several hours. Hit them with some wd-40 soaked triple o steel wool and rub them down. May have to repeat this process a few times depending on how rusty or dirty the pipes are. As they become clean then you can use the steel wool with some polishing compound like mothers. Once they are clean you can just use mothers and a clean rag. My polishing steps are pretty simple. Some people drag it out and have 6 steps. I have 2, unless I use sand paper, which I never do any more. I sand and smooth with the rol-loc discs on an air die grinder, most jobs just require the fine (green) discs. Use them till the surface is uniformly smooth. Then go straight to the polishing wheel, most use a 6'' cotton wheel on a bench grinder. I use one compound only. Small area's may require some dremmel work with sand paper discs and the polishing cotton wheels for it. It sounds easy but really takes some time for a smooth chrome looking finish. If people would use the right tools, it can cut the time to do the work down considerably. Check out my polishing guide for further indepth information, tons of info for any and everything. 7. Are they bare metal or are you just cleaning the chrome? I use the industrial brown rouge that most professional polishers use. The stuff from Lowe's is about a joke. Check a few threads down on the polishing tools I use.
  8. haha I always thought it was banshee seat $$
  9. Hit it with some timing and compression and it will wake up your low-end.
  10. I went with a +4 since my quad is set-up as an all around duner. I may have went with a +6 if I didn't have the +1 a-arms. Dragging I have to slip the clutch quite a bit to keep the front end down.
  11. Your gainen on me, just keep breathng. lol

  16. GOW, totally awesome game!!!

  18. I totally agree, no point in splurging on a blu-ray unless you have or plan on getting a 1080p tv. This next year we will see single units supporting both formats.
  19. Quality and size go hand in hand. You can't have one without the other. This is the reason you can't put a high def movie on standard dvd's. You would get only about 20 mins of the movie. The higher the resolution the more data the disc must hold. A standard blu-ray disc will hold 25gigs, dual layered 50gig. A hd dvd will hold 15 and 30gigs respectively. This is the reason blu-ray can offer movies in 1080p vs hd dvd's 720p capability because the disc can hold more data that the higher resolution requires. 1080p requires twice the data as a standard 720p signal. Don't quote me on this but I believe it has to do with media compression and decompression between the console and the pc's. It doesn't require near the agu/cpu resources to operate a console as effectively as a pc.
  20. It's my understanding that PS3's games are on bluray discs. This was the sole reason to release this unit with bluray because of the large capacity of the PS3 games not fitting on any type of standard DVD media. The 1080p and 7.1 dolby digital surround takes a lot of space. They say the games will soon be in the 50 gig range.
  21. Make sure you buy marine grade vinyl if you want it to last.
  22. Happy Birthday Jeff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Are you using the component video cables when hooking it up to a HDTV? If not, you will notice only a little difference. And yes the blu-ray players are backwards compatible and upconvert standard dvd's to higher resolution.
  24. Dennis, go to your local Circuit City, Best Buy, Ultimate Electronics store and see it in person. The Blu-ray technology is the best picture I have ever seen on anything, period!! Yes it is that good. This is 1080 progressive lines of resolution at it's finest. To appreciate it you need a 1080p television. Not all high def tv's are capable of even this high of resolution. Standard high def tv's are 720 progressive lines of resolution, big difference. Whoever wrote that article needs to see his local optometrist cause he can't see. The only downside to the Blu-ray is load time is like these game systems, takes several seconds before play begins. I have the X-box 360 and it is a very nice unit. But, if people will go download the high def trailers of the ps3 and the x-box 360 and do a comparison of the game play graphics, then you will see the ps3 has an advantage in the high def realm of gaming.
  25. Does the seconds hand sweep or tick?
