  1. Great man, Ill keep you updated.. Iam gonna try to work on some of it tonight.. Friday Ill have the cash for the bulk of the materials and so hopefully within a week or so Iam finishing up! RIPPEN
  2. Absolutly-lol.. Wish you could have made it back out this year but I also wish I could have made it down there this year.. Next year we will have to make up for all of it.. Iam already so stoked for next years vid it wont even be funny.. With the addition of theshee and ghostryder, getting those guys climbing more with us will make next years that much beter.. This vid was just a taste of whats to come in respect of the addition to the climbing group.. Cool man, what do you think of that layout?? I think it looks a little better with the updated version of the menu pages.. Also its nice that plays straight through huh?? Glad I finaly found that setting.. Knew it had to be on there somewhere-lol RIPPEN
  3. The couple times I have been around alky bikes in the 20's they didn't seem to like it well.. I think one of the problems is t he bike doesn't want to warm up being that the alky runs cold anyways.. Iam personly not to up on alky but the little I know tells me its tricky in cold.. Also all the alky bikes that day were having typical jetting issues due to the change as dynodon mentioned.. RIPPEN
  4. Not quite bro... I have settled on a title so now its a matter of buying the final materials, setting something up for payment and working up the dvd label as well as the cover for the case.. I have decided to do a actuall DVD case and since most have said they didn't have a problem with 15 bucks shipped Iam leaning more and more twards that.. Otherwise thanks for the interest and Ill keep everyone updated! RIPPEN
  5. Damn Cody, your goofy as shit sometimes.. :yelrotflmao: Guess all those fine titties in your face all the time has that effect on a guy.?. Welcome back man... I have been around for a while but not long enough to be called one of the HQ "old fogies".. Hope your back is doing good now.. RIPPEN
  6. How in the hell can you say that? Mine has stretched a shit load over the last two seasons.. And I KNOW its not the carrier slipping.. NYUK has good advice.. IMO the best way to keep a chain from stretching is buy a GOOD chain.. Sand is extreamly hard on chains and I think I even remember reading something that said to keep the O-ring chains out of the sand because it wipes out the o-rings right away.. I FINALY got a roundhouse swingarm for this year and Ill just keep throwing cheaper chains at it.. Not gonna spend a bunch of money on a chain the sands gonna wipe out.. RIPPEN
  7. Givin the fact you said your were messing with the flywheel... Did you bump the pickup outta whack.?. Is it still gapped correctly? RIPPEN
  8. I'd tell them to eat a dick and order a new set of both wheels AND tires.. Amazing how much those places F up considering this type of thing is supposed to be what they are good at.. A buddy of mine had a similar issue but knowing him Iam sure they ended up taking well care of him.. RIPPEN
  9. Good advice.. The 2 or 3 jaws are known to be hard on the flywheel and or stator.. DO NOT use those- lol.. As mentioned there is a actuall flywheel puller that works well and I believe is only 10 or 12 bucks most places.. Get that, its worth it!! Also when you do get one make sure you clean the threads out good so you can get threaded ingood.. Have heard of allot of people not doing that and end up stripping the therads on the puller.. RIPPEN
  10. As theshee mentioned I would look to get a clutch from F.A.S.T. Racing.. I got mine early last year and had a HARD season on it then and a moderate season on it this year.. It has worked perfectly with no signs of problems.. Call Jeff and he will set you up as well as answere any questions you may have about it.. RIPPEN
  11. Skys the limit man from where your at.. How much you lookin to spend? RIPPEN
  12. No snap ring or nothing... What kinda puller you trying to use??? RIPPEN
  13. I should be good for now bro but I deffinatly appreciate it! Cool, good to hear man and I never thought about changing the modes on the tv to help out the look.. Thats a good idea man and thanks for the BUMP! I would want nothing more for you to come out here to "show us up" LOL.. But be forwarned that the vid or pics don't do these shoots justice.. When The F.A.S.T. Racing crew came up I think they realized that the cam does it no Justice.. Futhermore on that weekend it was pretty snowy so they didn't even see the "Root Jungle" which is argueably the most consistant nasty climb we got.. All that shit aside, you tell me when your on your way next year and we will show you what Walden's all about.. And Ill be more than happy to include you in next years DVD!!! RIPPEN
  14. Good to know, thanks for the info bro! Thanks for the kind words man! After checking into the paypal thing it looks like I may end up leaning mor etwards MO's.. I just cant really justify doing PP when this is the first time I have really needed it.. Besides like Kiel said, it would just be another way to spend money-LOL Cool man, as posted above I think the MO will probably be the route I take.. Glad to see so many are interested and its also nice to see many wouldn't mind paying 15 shipped.. I was just worried that people may get scared off with anything over 10, if I do end up doing 15 it would REALLY help me out. Damn money tree is beyond bare! Looks like I need to get my ass in gear and start nailing some of this down-lol Thanks fellas! RIPPEN
  15. AWSOME, its cool to so this many people interested already! When I first started this I was shocked at the support I got from close friends.. To see support coming from HQ like this is great and appreciated.!. As far as payment type I was thinking maybe money order or just signing up for paypal and so some could pay that way.. Thats another thing I need to do over the next couple days is look into that.. Thanks for your interest fellas!!! RIPPEN
  16. Thanks Jeff, I appreciate it man.. I was originaly thinking of possibly 15 but like I said the image quality isn't perfect like I had hoped.. The very last thing I wanna do is make someone feel like I ripped them off even though I have spent TONS of time on this.. I got a few guys still reviewing it so after that Ill be set at the price.. Otherwise, again I appreciate the kind words and Iam glad you have dug the vids online! Here is a 1 minute clip of various clips of the dvd.. Wanted to keep it short so people with dial up won't have to wait a eternity.. :yelrotflmao: http://media.putfile.com/preview-72-70 Also wanted to let everyone know I don't think Ill be able to do the usual big plastic DVD case.. It be the same as the case of a regular cd.. It will just have a insert with the title and a pic on the front and the disc itself will have title ect on it too.. As said before I like to give people as much information as possible for stuff like this so people know what to expect or what they are getting.. Otherwise. as theshee mentioned if you like my vids on-line, this is even better! Actually with the link in this post you can see what iam talking about.. On a bigger TV its just more noticeable because EVERYTHINGS bigger.. So just look at that and think of it as bigger-lol and thats pretty much what Iam trying to describe.. RIPPEN
  17. Oh yeah, I ment to put that in the post that Iam going to put one together within the next couple days.. Otherwise below is two of the most recent vids I did for on-line... http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=83180 Thanks Bansh! Thanks man, Iam glad you liked it and thanks again for contributing pics and vid! RIPPEN
  18. Ok, so Iam finally getting close to having my DVD ready to ship out. All I need to do now is get some disc labels made up and get some more supplies as well as some finishing touches to the vid itself.. In doing this Iam needing to know how many people are actually interested in getting one.. The movie in total runs to 59:32 which includes 8 chapters/vids which range from 3 mins up to 12 mins and one 5 minute slide show.. Some of the "chapters" of this vid are online but even those were redone therefore are different in some way. It also contains a bit of footage from theshee's archives! The only thing Iam really not happy with is on larger screen TV's the quality doesn't look the greatest.. If you look close on my videos online it has kind of a "pixely"(I know thats not really a word but it best describes it) look to it.. On my 37" its not bad but is more noticeable on lager screen(hence why I never really noticed while viewing on my computer) I don't want anyone getting upset because its not 100% sharp.. Also some of the text isn't correct but to make a long story short some of my clips got deleted so these text errors have to stay.. Theshee has seen a copy so far as well as Hyperlite33.. Hopefully they will chime in for a little overall review.. This vid contains mostly footage from Walden Colorado as well as some drag footage and pics from St. Anthony Idaho. Most of the footage is hillshoots/climbs but also contains quite a bit of drags.. There is some cool stuff as well as a pretty funny crash compliation.. Also I did kind of a "featured bike" thing where all the chapters but one have a bike or two in which I give a brieaf description of mods.. Overall I think I acheaved the goal of getting some of my and my buddies better footage on one disc.. There is footage from 4 years ago up to present.. Also with the slide show its 5 minutes with close to 80 of our better/cooler pics. I havn't totaly nailed down cost yet but at the most I would like to get 10.00 bucks but that is shipped.. Trying to just cover some meterials and time cost and being that the 10 bucks includes shipping I think thats about fair.. Again that price isn't for sure but likely.. If all goes well Iam thinking these should be 100% ready within the next 2-3 weeks.. So who might be interested? RIPPEN
  19. Now thats funny right there :yelrotflmao: Congrats on the new go fast shit!! RIPPEN
  20. GOOD POST AND I AGREE.. All the time there is people asking me if Iam going to watch this game or did I watch that game.. I always say nope, there nothing but a bunch of over payed bitches so I don't watch.. I have basicly put all my focus into watching MMA.. Here a couple years ago Carmello Anthony(I think it was) got caught with weed... In a speech to "apologize" he sounded like a fucktard of a 3rd grader... Thats when I said fuck him and fuck professional ball players.. These dumb asses make more in a year than most of us will in all our lives but still cant speak clearly enough for people to understand while giving a interview.. This Vic asshole should be tortured for one day in each count of animal cruelty.. Then shot in his head.. I don't want anymore resources watsed on this fucker than there already has been.. RIPPEN
  21. Oh, no worries man, sorry if I came back like I was snappin-lol.. Your right though.. The one time theshee and I ran it was very close.. We both had less than desirable starts and in my defense he doesn't weigh shit and my bike like mentioned before really isn't set up for drag.. BUT at that time neither was that Raptor.. He didn't have that much done to it so I was impressed.. Otherwise you cant get around the fact theshee weighs a buck foedy soakin wet.. LMFAO!! RIPPEN
  22. I agree with the balls thing-lol.. However I disagree with your last sentance.. That may work for the shit your climbing but I can send you a list of guys off HQ that have seen the climbs in Walden and would discredit that "you can make it out of most anything with your basic banshee"... Otherwise like I said I agree with needing some balls but I need to also add in that catagory, either some brains or non at all- :yelrotflmao: RIPPEN
  23. Actaully Iam not sure if he wants to watch any of my vids unless he has some Asprin... :yelrotflmao: I can't totaly say whats the best as there is so many differnt situations for climbing but ill give you what little knowledged based off experience I have.. Up here we have in most cases ABSOLUTLY NO run at all.. On top of that we are also riding 8,500 ft in elevation. With having no run your gonna obviously be in serious need of torque.. In theshee list he has most all of those mods equaling torque.. My current setup is basicly setup 75% climbs 20% duneing and the other 5 for drag.. Its a 4mil Fast duneport as Kiel mentioned.. So with that equals good torque from the 4mil as well as the porting... The porting on my bike is probably ported a tad more to the topend than a all out hill shooter may do but along with the 35mm Pwk's that plays a little into the duning/drag side. I also run the Vforce reeds which I belive helps with the quick low end throttle responce.. Also Iam running the Noss cool head.. Where we ride the compression is probably right around 158-160 psi range.. Good compression for the bottom but not so crazy it hurts some of the top(also I rather not run full race fuel-lol).. My pipes are CPI.. Again I was wanting something that comes on QUICK AND HARD.. But Cpi's also offer some top end so that goes back to the duning/drag side.. As for suspension and stuff Iam still running stock shocks and A-arms.. Iam running the dune runners on front with douglas blues.. Iam not sure on this but the dune runners seem pretty damn heavy. They turn well and with the weight I think they in help keeping the front down a tad.. The swingarm is a +6 stock extended.. Out back I have 21x12x8 8 paddle Extreams.. The Extreams are KICKASS.. 8paddles may be a tad on the light side but they still do REALLY well.. They hook enough to get me the traction but they also spin enough to keep the bike well into the power.. Also for sand the 21" on 8" wheels look sick and work great because of the height.. Helps keep you up out of the sand where the ruts get really bad.. I failed ALLOT of climbs when I was running the 20s.. For sprockets Iam currently running 14 in front and a 45 in the rear.. So Its geared pretty damn low.. If I wasn't so damn high up here gearing would be much different.. However it also works well with that gearing because of how much turning and how tight the shoots are. The tighter climbs are a first gear free for all.. Pin that shit and your geared low enough that when you have to let out, full power is just a clutch slip away. For more open climbs second is a kick in the ass... The only problem with that is sometimes we get goin to fast-lol.. As for the odds and ends that I think help are.. Anything to help get rid of heat... I got the billit water impeller and a guage to watch whats going on.. It sucks being stuck at the bottom of a climb and not being able to get out because of heat.. Mind you allot of our nastier climbs are a one way in and one way out deal. So Its nice to look at the guage and determine wether you an drop down for a climb or you need to stay up top and let her cool.. Iam telling you once you have a guage you won't want to go without.. I aslo have a pancake bearing for the clutch.. Again with getting lots of heat built up I don't wanna have to worrie about pulling the clutch in and welding the ball.. As for the clutch itself, its a FAST clutch.. I have one REALLY hard season on it and one medium season this year.. IT HAS WORKED GREAT! Also on my bike I run nerfs.. I don't think these are important in climbing realy at all.. However here they come in handy when trying to get into tight places with trees.. Without them I would get cought on stuff but they help to push the bike around as they rub on the trees.. So with that setup this thing THROWS DOWN of the hills.. I wish we could go out and run the stuff that Sno does.. Being at sea level Be RIPPEN shit up-lol Iam not sure if thats what all your after man.. If there is anything I missed or a question you have feel free to ask!!! RIPPEN
  24. Hell yeah they run well.. Real well.. They respond great to mods and are already starting to break banshee owners hearts.. Will the heavly built 700s beat the heavly built banshee's? Not yet but they are reeling them in a little at a time... Oh and in case Wallace thinks Iam the one theshee was refering to when talking about a banshee owner getting pissed off. Thats incorrect... I have known these bikes had potential long ago.. Even when "REALLY SMART" guys said they were junk.. On top of that I never get pissed when I lose on the drags.. My bike is ported, and setup for climbs, then duneing, then drag.. I cant afford to keep up in the drag racing competition thats out here so I built Melvin for climbs.. RIPPEN
  25. You stole the miami vice shit from me so I figured I would go with something you don't like so I wouldn't have to worrie about it... :yelrotflmao: Guess its safe to say you wont be wanting one, you would be getting lots of headaches.. To be honest most of the stuff I use in my vids isn't that heavy.. I think you maybe confused on whats "Death metel" vs heavy metel, rock, ect.. Would wild side from crew "give you a headache"??? Maybe your getting to old??? :yelrotflmao: On a more serious note.. The reasion I use more fast paced louder music is because I feel its more fitting.. Your vid you did "down in a whole" was pretty clever, it fit that.. But the vice one or whatever, I wasn't big on that particular choice.. It may have been exactly what you were after and good for you, I can respect that.. But I want heavy and more powerfull songs to get the more excited and anxious feel.. I guess different strokes for different folks.. Thanks again to everyone and their contributions! I used a couple that people recomended and will probably use some more in future vids or DVD's BTW Its almost finished already!!! RIPPEN
