  2. I break in my engines they way I ride them, balls to the wall. That is after I do my warmup cycles and a few half throttle trips... Everyone has their own way man, thats why the search IS the best option, cause there is alot of ideas/opinions. Good Luck Eric

Thanks guys going to have to try this when i get the chance, ill have to look for those exhaust orings too, i have the inside ones but not the outside ones... as for you shawn i wish it was like that, i want to tear her down so bad and redo alot of things, the frame needs alot more cuttin.... And of course some more polished parts :biggrin:
  6. Ya i thought about it but oil would ruin the wheel, just wantin to know the best way... Never really had to do this but with shearers you really need a seal or your pipes are messed.
  7. Shearer chrome looks crappy enough as it is, but now i've got oil on them from a bad seal (Stock hangers finally gave way, got new chrome cascade ones coming). So the sealant gave way from all the turning on the flanges. I decided to pull them off and do some maint. polishing on the motor and theres no way I cant afford new chrome at this point so whats going to get that oil off my pipes? I refrained from using a steel brush cause it would hurt me too much... Eric

  12. its 55 here and im freezing.... You need to lift the frame before taking off the swinger, it puts too much stress on the bolt so it wont slide freely.

  18. Never heard of the leaded fuel thing, ive been running leaded for years. But since its on the left i have no idea, thats weird. But ya i could see gear oil doing that if you have an internal leak due to a yamabond breech.
  19. PJs are shit man, IMO - Sorry i just had terrible luck with mine. I shortly switched for pwks and love them. They are just a cheap carb, and are really touchy. But yes, WES will stear you in the direction. He got mine runnin close but they just wouldnt ever work right.
