  1. I think I have a set that has a few hours on them. Needs new rings tho. Last place didn't chamfer the exhaust, the one ring is razor sharp now. They were on my girlfriends motor so they hardly were ridden on.
  2. Copy the img code and paste it in a response
  3. So you just installed this thing?? So no it's not strange. You probably fucked up some where. Go check again on this thing. Also, what is a jet ski style kill switch
  4. No you don't have to port. No you can't run 17cc domes. For mixing, get a ratio right cup or bottle and most common is 32:1
  5. That sucks. But at least you have a warranty on your current one.
  6. I think he means you can just twitch and hit the clutch and it'll slide into the next gear, or back off just a hair and pop into the next gear. Pretty much wot shift
  7. Ugh, I know it's brand new but just give it a shot. That's the biggest mistake. People never check the new parts because obviously, there new. Really your best bet is to test with a known good oem, because I believe stators can still test good or it may be coils, so I hope some one can come in and correct me.
  8. Both junk. Do you have a oem you can steal to test on your bike? Did you ohm the caps? Coil? Stator? Are all your grounds good and clean?
  9. Oh really?
  10. Oem stator? oem cdi box? oem flywheel?
  11. 280atsealevelwiththelidonseemstoberichwhatsyourpilotwhatmadeyouputinthe280maindidyoudoacompressioncheckwhatdoyourplugslooklike
  12. Your comp doesn't change with timing. Only domes/ head and porting change that
  13. did you replace the bearing in there?
  14. I think your good to go now.
  15. I have had zero bad dealings with hjr( ported my cylinders), Jeff at fast tried to help me diag a clutch issue for a few days when I bought a few parts from him, Cam at redline just bored my girlfriends cylinders and I actually just got them back yesterday.
  16. Go to the site sponsor page. Take a pick
  17. As simply as I can put it is its a one way valve. Stops the charge from going back out the carbs.
  18. Clymers tells you how to install reeds. Timing plate, you need a flywheel puller and take that off, unbolt the oem mounting plate( 3 bolts 10mm I believe) un bolt the stator from the plate, then work backwards with the adjustable plate. Once you get the stator back one and the plate loosely bolted on, use the split between the cases as you guide. Line that up with the +4, reinstall your flywheel torque it down, don't forget the woodruff key. Inspect it and make sure it's straight and everything lines up.
  19. Just get a tether. It's at least still somewhat of a key.
  20. Did you buy them?
  21. stock crank and new brgs. 115mm rod blaster piston 0.100 over Clyinders ported drag port. not what i wanted 371cc motor not what i wanted what i ordered was a 4mill motor but the builder talked me into a 4mill with a blaster piston you end up with is a 421cc motor. So you paid for this but you got that?? I would ship the thing back and tell them to give me what I paid for
  22. Man I would have really loved that Hinson set up
