my dad has a 660r and I like it. its heavy and doesnt feel as agile. but it has a big engine with a lot of torque so its good for trails.

i doubt bombardier would make the 2 stroke. even if it is cleaner. the mx track is just too dominated by 4 strokes. it would be sweet though. maybe though. and i think the new 450 is supposed to be like 7k.

im guessing its worth whatever you are gonna pay for the bike.

didnt yamaha claim 180hp stock or am i thinking of something else? i didnt think that was possible without some nos or motor work so i just wanted to check.

500s are beasts. i would suggest doing wheelies in the grass some first. and wear a bunch of foam. or bubble wrap. and video tape it if you are gonna wear bubble wrap. i think it would be cool to hear someone all wrapped in the stuff fall. it would be a symphony of snapping and popping. if you wanna wheelie more then change your gearing. thats probably the best thing you can do.

the hub is fine. i got the chunks out. i just need to know if the different rim thicknesses will unbalance me or anything. i dont think it would matter. but id rather be sure before i order a new rim.

i dont think hed need to gear it slower. i never had to gear my 250 slower. it cant be any faster than that.

the gloves wont help much. you need to either get a twist throttle, or a thumb throttle extender. or cut your spring. i guess four makes atv specific stuff though. you could try them. but i still dont think they will help much.
