the 400ex is a damn reliable quad and i have beat piped and stock z's with mine when it was all stock, skills is probly why. now mine hase a pipe k&n and jetting but havent lined up with a z yet but the 05 will prob kill me with the new cam. my friend is getting an 05 ex in a couple of months so ill see if the gearing is different, hopfully first isnt so low. spud

according to the dirtwheels shootout the CT sonic has the most horse power, 48.6hp. the e-series had 44.9hp and all of them were between 100-103 decible. and they chose the yoshi as the best. if you want ill post hp and decibles for all the pipes l8r spud

depends on the track. the track i go to has 1 quad class so every one races together. then some do classes by skill level and some by engine size. spud

running from cops is one thing that is giving quads a bad name, since so many think so badly of quads this is just f**king it up even more, on the 4th of july we used to be able to ride quads on the street and some little basterds scwred that up for everyone.

i plan on goin right now. plans may change by then but 2 trips in one year just aint enough sand. spud

friend of mine is gettin a 400ex tommorrow. dont know if it would be a good idea to take him to the dunes, he hasnt riden a lot but liked ridin my 400ex. if i go i will be leavin friday some time. spud
