  1. Dirt Rider's retardation strikes again.
  2. I would part it out if I were you. That bike would only get $6000 at the most in one piece. Parted out you might be able to get what you're asking.
  3. I wish I was drunk right now. Unfortunately they don't let me drink at work.
  4. That picture of the yellow Celica is of a 1/10th scale model from an auto show. I can't rmember which show. The main tip off to it being a model even if you hadn't seen the picture, is the air duct openeing above the chin spoiler are solid material that is black in color. Why do retards post pictures like this and claim it to be their cars? I mean christ, atleast get a picture of a real car. Ride your bike around the parking lot and take pictures or don't bother being a douche and stop posting crap.
  5. Can you post a picture of what youre selling so I can tall you what I want?
  6. I do the same things. Does that make it not wierd?
  7. Holyman was the intended victim of my question.
  8. My buddy used to have one and it was very comfortable and stable at speed in the sand. I would never buy one, but I can see how they would be bad ass desert racers.
  9. Possibly the same person that taught you to spell "tought."
  10. Cotton Eyed Joe, whats stopping you from making heads? I wouldn't bother getting an ME degree if you're just going to open a shop. An ME degree is alot of work. If youre planning on running a shop and going to school I would think you should plan on your B.S. taking you far more than four years. I have a B.S. in Vehicle Design and a Masters in ME, whci h I just finished a little bit ago. I haven't slept for six years, or atleast thats what I feel like, and I didn't try to do anything else during that time period, but go to school. Just some stuff to think about. When you get to the point where thinking hurts, stop.
  11. How much do you want for the cylinders that you mentioned?
  12. Email me a few picture or post 'em. Nerfs and the pipes are what I am interested in.
  13. I would like to know the same things. I would also maybe like to get an official measurement to find out how much wider it is.
  14. Maybe some of you guys that live in WA have seen the chainsaw engine on my blender at the dunes. It's pretty bad ass. I got rid of the diaphragm carb on it and replaced it with a weed eater carb that i set up to run on alcohol. She'll go through a load of ice in 30 seconds. Guarantee it makes the fastest margarita at the dunes.
  15. I would like a stroker crank, a good set of jugs, and preferably some type of cool head with interchangeable domes. Let me know what you guys have.
  16. As a point of reference, there is a whole series of threads over at www.planetsand.com devoted to how big of a douche Josh A. is. I find it slightly interesting that he essentially does the same thing that this thread is complaining about in this thread.
  17. Those are real. THey are also real gay looking. Maier has been making them for awhile.
  18. The reed valve is essentially a one way valve in your intake. They keep the engine from sucking and blowing through your carburetor. A reed spacer goes between the valve and the cylinder. Typically these are put in to allow fo an aftermarket reed valve assembly that happens to be longer. There really isn't much performance to be gained with this item as it is not changing a critical volume in any way shape or form. Carbon fiber tends to be the best reed material. The two stage reeds also lend a broader performance levels. The two key issues with reeds are how fast they open and how laminair the flow through them is. The less turbulence they make, the better they are. How fast they open is dictated by the reed itself. There can be alot of difference with this part, so I won't really go into it right here unless you really want to know. My personal preference for valve manufacturers is Boyesen. They do more R&D than anyone else and there construction is second to none. Alot of the other reed valve manufacturers out there make crap. Plain and simple.
  19. Indian Reservations have good stuff.
  20. The craftsmanship on that port job is outstanding.
  21. I'm still interested in al the stuff I pm'd you about. Part it out. Git er done.
  22. THe whole porting with out a degree wheel and a proper flow model for the engine would bother me. As far as the naked porting goes...............I bring nothing to the table.
  23. Or you could just take a shit on someones hood. I mean if youre going to do something like that, you might as well go all the way.
  24. I am going to agree with 909. I have ported many two strokes and four strokes. There is no such thing as an amateur porter. You need to know what you are doing and knowing what you are doing comes from doing all of the math and planning before you get out the files and die grinders. Someone finally sent me a set of Race Logic templates and I am not going to use them. They do not seem to be specifically for any type of riding. I certainly don't want to trust templates that I do not know how they were created. If you want to get started on port work, then go find someone to mentor you. Just going at it and practicing will not give you the best results.
