  1. i can't make up my mind wich one should i get dynatek or srp rev box, does anybody outhere has any experience with these boxes? considering the $340 for the dynatek vs the $119 for the srp, what are the differences?
  2. what contest are we talking about?? i already have the noss head but what the heck, a spare one wouldn't hurt either right?
  3. with vito's superstock forged you can't go wrong, they add gobs of power to your mid range-top end, highly recommend those. They might not be cheap but you get what you pay for. Give them a try and you'll know right away where the extra money go.
  4. dave's tech support is the best, get the Nosshead.
  5. at what point in the modifications to a banshee will it be considered UNreliable?? i mean when should you stop the mods to have a good play-riding banshee??
  6. thanks dave, again you are a life saver.
  7. stay away from the K&N, go foam with a proflow adapter especially if you ride in sand, i ditched the K&N cause it was sucking more dirt than a vacuum cleaner despite the outwear, now with the foam i'll never go back to the K&N. take my advice, the K&N cost me about $450 for a top end rebuild.
  8. what would be a good gas for 160 P.S.I,??? i run on leaded VP 101 octane, is it ok?? also will it be safe to increase the compression?? i run on 21cc domes thinkin on some 20's or even 19's. whatcha think?
  9. i think is an uphill battle, raptors have diferent gearing ratios, not to mention the 660cc's of displacement, i am afraid the raptor will still be faster despite your mods, but sure as hell you will be quicker.
  10. thanks dave, but i don't think it's the head maybe i just need to re-torque the nuts (they seem tight enough though), i'll exhaust all posibilities going from the easy to the difficult (i think the head will be the last thing to check) thanks again.
  11. did he installed the jet kit as well?? could be a jetting/carb problem
  12. i don't see toomey's 6 pipes mentioned a lot, instead FMF, rockets or other brand are mentioned even recommended. What is wrong with these pipes?? they work good for me, or maybe you people out there know something i don't. am i on the wrong boat here?? so let's hear it.
  13. aparently is not oil but coolant, this morning i found coolant in a unusual part of the head, maybe i blew the thing, maybe 2 much compression 150 P.S.I cold, i don't know maybe you guys can help, i also noticed that the cooant level has gone down when it usually doesn't.
  14. i recently got a noss head and it rocks but yesterday i noticed a thin layer of oil around the seams of the head, what can it be??? need help
  15. go with dave noss's head they rock!
  16. yes it was in dusty conditions (sand dunes) the carbs are stock with 320 mains
  17. they both suck at filtering, even with the goddamn pre-filter i still found small specks of dust past the filter, soooooo i am going to dump them for good. I am switching to foam. And yes i installed them correctly and paid attention to detail as well. k&N if you're watching your filters are good at air flow intake but you fail miserably at filtering not even outwears can save you, so please do us all a favor and make a better sucker.
  18. hey dave noss i've got to tell you, those heads of yours they just "rock" they look nice too those black anodized heads looks very close to the stockers and i like that, the performace is awesome as well, i am very happy with your product. and if that dude from canada is watching don't get the pro-design heads dave's heads rule. thanks dlnoss.
  19. i got my banshee back from the shop, i had the mechanic install a set of vito's superstock forged pistons and a noss head with 21cc domes, and running on VP gas 103 octanes, oh my god that thing rips, as it reaches the top end the front wheels want to lift off the ground, i highly recommend those pistons, that banshee is fast as hell now, no yfz 450 will even come close to me. long live the banshee
