  1. aw comeon matt, wheres the fun if you leave out the snoop dizzle?
  2. its the shit. real easy to do and pretty damn affordable.
  3. the works are shorter and it will sit low. i think.
  4. seems like the extra rotational mass would play hell on your brakes and clutch.
  5. is responsible for THE worst post on bhq record.
  6. isnt mic short for micrometer
  7. Honda: TRX90: air restrictor at the snorkel Polaris: Pred 50: electronic limiter, tether Polaris: Pred 90: electronic limiter Yamaha: YFM 50: air restritor at the airbox, and a tether Yamaha: YFM 80: air restritor at the airbox, no tether and ALL of these bikes have a throttle limiter screw. pardon if i forgot something, its been a while i since ive dealt with kids quads.
  8. not if you place cjak where you are supposed to. haha
  9. i feel the same way about OU, buncha queers they are.
  10. fab parts are easy to find. try these places. www.chassisshop.com www.mckenzies.com www.camburg.com www.kartek.com www.jegs.com
  11. its called free sag and is totally normal. it helps reduce wear and tear on the shocks, and is a function of tire scrub and teh weight of the machine.
  12. Wallrat made a 2-1 out of stainless steel a while back. might PM him about pictures and ideas. if you go this route make sure you measure the angle of the intakes and compensate for it. if you dont, your carb will sit funny.
  13. because some colors radiate heat better than others, duh! lol
  14. i dont think you should be jumping with a lowering kit at all. from what i have seen they are comprised of some flimsy little brackets. not what i would call "flight worthy" by any means. Just my opinion, take it for what its worth.
  15. i think that discussing your private love life on an internet quad forum is a bit ridiculous myself. really, who wants love advice from some guys who are here for tips on jetting and their chassis sertup?
  16. haha, whatever floats your boat?
  17. ya, thats true also. im getting a band saw for x-mas from the rents, so maybe then ill throw together some boxed plate arms like rx7500hpt2 has on one of his quads. they look super trick and they are for yfz450 shocks. that would keep me from modding my PC'ed frame to get the full travel from the longer shocks.
  18. im taking a machining class next semester, and im getting my job back at the machine shop next semester also, so ive been thinking. i wonder if i could take the Racetech gold valve out of my rear shock, and scale it down the make some ones for the fronts. RT makes a kit, but its like $200 each side, kinda pricey. plus it would be a good project, but maybe not until i take my class on fluids. i dunno.
  19. no, its a new country song. def not by the people who sing red red wine.
  20. at the same time as screech from saved by the bell.
  21. id suggest large heims with hi-mis spacers to allow for more travel than you will ever need, and the larger heims will wear better.
  22. how about this country one, been stumping me for a while. "...baby give me back my ring..."
  23. thats inaccurate. square, rectangular actually is stronger than round, its just that round is of uniform strength which makes it good for most applications. in reality the rectangular tubing, when oriented in the proper direction, is a much better choice for these types of loads. since the only major loading a swinger sees is up and down, you make the longer sides of the rectangle go parallel to these forces. ie up and down. square is heavier, but if youre building a balls to the wall drag bike im sure you wont be buying a no name arm off ebay anyway.
  24. I dont see why people think they are too stiff, they seemed a little soft for me, i stiffened mine up.
  25. taking up space in the garage and my wallet. :woot:
