thats happened to me before. i just cut a piece of .25in x .50in flat steel and then angle it from the top of the stop to the nearest frame member and let the MIG do the work. just make sour you bend it back before you weld it.

i use a 3 ft section of 1" x 1" steel tubing. then i paint it for corrosion resistance and bevel one end to a 45* angle. it provides plenty of cuttin power to pierce a chest plate or most any automotive body work.

it might ride smoother, but since youre gonna be cuttin anyways your wasting your time by not narrowing it.

boring is kinda tricky at first, its kindaof a backwards process. you can order your thirty over pistons from rockymountainatv.com with out knowing the metric equivalent. and that the first thing you need to do. once you receive them youll notice a number stamped into the crown, this is the pistons actual size, and thats what size the cylinders need to be bored too. if you just have them bored to .030 its likely that the pistons will vary slightly in size making the machine work useless. i hope that makes sense, if not ill try to clarify.

i have a small portercable i got from lowes. nothing fancy. 6hp with a 26 gallon tank i think. i usually just run an air drill or a 1/2 drive impact with it. but when i run my tools its not a constant usage so that small of a compressor suits my needs. id like to have a bigger one remote plumbed into my attic, but its not a high priority. good luck with yer purchasin.

SDD on here has one fuckin sweet lighting setup. He uses a small battery pack connected to the stator to power a set of 4 HID lights. ill find you the pictures, but they are Bbiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
