Lets start throwing out some dates and headcounts, I want to make it to this one this year, so that everyone can plan weeks ahead of time so that everyone that has to drive 4 or more hours can get off work, get away from the wife, or maybe she wants to come. hah.

My friend made the reservations, and thats what he said he thought it was called.. he dosent even know.. lol, he just knows how to get there, he said it's about 8 miles from the dunes and its by a lake with a stairway going down to it, then acrost the street there is a small carry-out .. I've never been to it.. anyone know of it?

MY swing-arm finally got back and now I'm waiting on my motor parts.. look like I'm gonan be breaking in a fresh motor at the dunes.. lol, Called the place where I'm getting the parts and they said they should be at my doorstep either thurs. or friday.. so looks like I wont be showing up until later sat. night.

I'll be there if I can get my bike put back together. me and 2 of my other buddies and maybe demond,, I'll be riding a shee with yellow frame. long chrome swing-arm and a-arms.

I'll be looking for ya Minkia, my bike is stretched out and has quite of bit of chrome, parts still hasnt came yet, wish my Marvin Shaws and fullbores would get here in time too but I doubt it.I'm gonna be pushing it hardcore, but I'll see what happens. I am hoping real bad that we can make it. My buddy reserved it with his credit card so.. I dunoo what he wants to do with it if we cant make it.. thats up to him but I'll talk to him and see what he wants to do. I'm hoping we dont have to worry about that. All we ask of ya is if ya buy us the first rounds at the bar.. lol

If my parts come demond, the camp ground is Val Due Lakes, with electric hook-up. My banshee has a yellow frame with cut gray and yellow plastics, or look for the duck-tap on the flag. Prolly be hanging mostly at the drag strip most of the time.

So who's in for sure, I'm got a 50:50 chance, either the parts I desperatly need get here in time or not.. if so I'm slapping them on and I'm then 100% pos I'm going.

I've got campground reservations for fri. sat. and sunday, only 3 of us going and only gonna take 1 tent.. the campground has a 3 tent limit.. let me know if you want in..

I'll be up there memorial weekend, along with a few other guys. Havent made any reservations yet, but we are taking a camper so if we cant get a campground we stay at the truckstop/marathon gas station right down the road from the dunes. We havent had anything said to us yet about it.

Man I'm pissed hardcore!, Had a guy from Ft. wayne powdercoat my frame for my shee, yellow, well it was already yellow to begin with and i got it sandblasted and wanted to have it powdercoated instead of painted. Well a guy I work with lives in ft. wayne so he took it there for me. I got it back and the guy that was supposed to coat it painted the SOB, does he think I'm an idiot that I cant tell the difference between powdercoating and paint!!!.. And this just brings be back later for going to the dunes and I'm getting real mad as the days go on!.. I gave the dude 2 weeks to have it done and done right!.. so hopefully I'll see you guys there sometime this month. Hey fixitrod, hear about the guy from Ft. Wayne that tried to race a train on his banshee and lost?. Guy didnt get killed or hurt..just destroyed the quad.. lol..

I'm getting pretty pumped about getting a trip going here soon, fixitrod, I live 1/2 hour from ft. wayne!

Tony Doukas Racing (TDR). its a 428 big bore with a 5mm stroke,it can be power valved, right now I've got block off's pretty wicked motor. TDR has awesome big bore motor kits, he espicallizies is pretty much just banshee's. Very top quality. Hopefully the whole bike is done by then, I done the climb last year with a 370 stroker and it done decent got almost to the top the first time and shifted too soon and got buried.. to say the least it wasnt fun tring to get it out kept sliding down the hill and was worried that my bike was gonna go tumbling.. lol

I like IMRON, its a Real hard paint, already has the hardners, but if you add more it becomes real sturdy!

I would say it would be too hot, I have a friend that does powdercoating for a living and the remove powdercoat you heat it up to a high temp and it just flakes off. I wouldnt suggest it, wasting your money Word up on the ceramic coat
